Vita Coco - Pure Coconut Water (500ml x 12) - Naturally Hydrating - Packed With Electrolytes - Gluten Free - Full Of Vitamin C & Potassium

I have tried several brands of coconut water and this is my favorite by far! It doesn't have the added sugar or pulp like some of the cheaper brands in the can. It's all natural and smooth tasting. I like the 17oz box because it has the twist off cap. I workout a lot and on days with a lot of cardio, I will drink a bottle of this before and/or after my workout. It has more potassium than 2 bananas, more electrolytes than a sports drink and it's all natural with no fat or cholesterol. It's low in calories and keeps my hydrated. I don't know what else I could ask for in a drink. It also seconds for a great hangover cure. After a long night of drinking alcohol, I slam a bottle of Vita Coco, with some advil and I never wake up with a hangover. I have difficulty finding it from the local grocery store and when I do find it, it's actually slightly more expensive than purchasing and having it delivered to my doorstep! Some of my friends like the vita coco with pineapple or mango, but I like the Pure Coconut Water!

It is far healthier than heavily dyed, artificially sweetened sports drinks. I purchase Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) regularly and include it in my smoothies and other drinks. My daughter likes to drink it straight up. WHAT I LIKE: • Its mild flavor does not seep through when added to other things, which is important to me because I cannot stand the taste of coconut. • It is a healthy addition to my green smoothies, especially after a hard workout at the gym. • It is appealing to my kids as a drink and so much better than soda. • The coconut water is not in plastic which leaches toxic chemicals. • The twist on lid makes the coconut water storable if I don’t finish the carton. • Added to frozen strawberries, lime juice and tequila, coconut water naturally sweetens margaritas. • It tastes fantastic blended with frozen pineapple. WHAT I DON’T LIKE: • From time to time I will get a case of coconut water with defective lids. Vita Coco IS 100% pure; not all coconut waters can claim that! It tastes like you just stuck a straw in a green coconut and sipped the refreshing nectar and went "Ahhhh". It is certainly refreshing and that is supported not only by medical people but by a friend of mine from India. So who you gonna believe, heh? On a trip to India, while we were driving from Bangalore (now Bangalaroo) to Mysore, I noticed a lot of people stopping along side the road to buy coconuts from vendors. I asked my friend what that was all about. Did they like to eat coconuts THAT much?? He told me that they were stopping to get a refreshing drink to help them fight the effects of the heat. Coconut water gave them a good resistance to the heat and refreshed them. Intriguing, I thought at the time. But later on when I discovered the product made by Vita Coco all that discussion came flooding back to me. The amount of potassium is great compared to bananas. I DO get an uplifting feeling knowing that I'm not only getting a tasty drink (I like that 17 ounce size) but it has such great benefits of refreshment during the hot season. CHEERS!!

I'll be honest, when I first started drinking coconut water, I wasnt a fan. Years of loving almond joys and those coconut cream filled eggs they have around easter time, I wasn't expecting real coconut to be so...well...not sweet. But after a few attempts, the taste really started to grow on me and I now love coconut oil (use it in my tea), coconut flakes (use it in my oatmeal), and coconut water. Vita Coconut seems to be larger in size/ounce than some other coconut brands out there. Also, it taste very fresh compared to cracking open a real coconut and drinking the water straight out of it which I have also done several times. I only wish that they products were made organically. That would have caused me to give it 5 stars. Also, I am not 100% thrilled with the packaging of this product, but I will say that it is still a lot better than having it in plastic. I recommend Vita Coco over the other coconut brands. And subscribing to them on amazon makes them the cheapest around at only about a $1.50 or so a drink as opposed to the $2.50 / $3.00 Ive seen them for in stores.

Vita Coco coconut water is a wonderful, good tasting, health enhancing product. I really like it, like it very much, drink it all the time. But, as other reviewers have noted, the containers are very vulnerable to bursting in shipment. My few first couple of shipments arrived in perfect shape. But then one container was simply missing from a soggy box two shipments ago. I let that go because everything else was fine. But my most recent shipment never even arrived. UPS declared it "undeliverable" and returned it to Amazon in Indiana (along with a Splenda shipment in the same box). After that . . . nothing. No refund. No replacement. No word from Amazon at all. And no way to contact Amazon to ask for a refund without my agreeing to return the package which they already had received. In my frustration, I have chosen this review to perhaps catch someone's attention at Amazon. I remain a great fan of and a great user of Amazon, but this one time . . . Catch 22. So, to repeat, I think Vita Coco is terrific. It does need better packaging however, so buyer beware. And Amazon, please fix your website so loyal customers like me don't get caught in a cul-de-sac, having to pay for products we never even received.

I am from South India where coconut water is so very common. The street vendors are so frequent that one can find at least 2 of 'em within a mile. The taste is as good as drinking it directly out of a coconut which I used to have almost everyday to survive the heat there. My wife and I loved Peach & Mango and Natural flavor. I did try the pineapple flavor from Sheetz didn't like it much but again ones food is another's poison. You be the judge of it. We used to get this for 25 rupees which is approx 50cents per coconut but this works out to $3 per tetra pack. The one thing I should definitely mention is that the additional fruit flavors doesn't tamper the original taste of the coconut water. But is added with the perfect ratio that you enjoy both the flavors. I don't take this very cold but loved it at 10 degrees less than the room temperature. I love it so much that I have subscribed 2 boxes of 17oz to be delivered monthly. My wife and I finished the first batch with 2 weeks of its delivery.

I belong to a part of India where coconut is part of our staple diet. After moving to the US I had almost given up on the thought of drinking coconut water everyday. Prohibitive costs and availability being the primary reasons. When I saw this deal, i was really happy and ordered it immediately. The first packet came in July, my concierge who collected the packet called me immediately stating there was a leak in the box that had arrived. To my relief only one of the packs had a small leak. The packs were good sized and i knew instantly that i had a months supply of coconut water. When i chilled it and tasted it, I had mixed views, while it had distinctive sweet flavor, there was certainly an aftertaste probably coz of the packing. Anyway i developed a taste for it and it was a good month. The shipping of the second package was announced late july. I was later notified that the package had been damaged during shipping. I was refunded my money and no package was sent for the month of august. I received an intimation about the packet for September arriving in late august. Again, it was the same story replayed. My concierge called me to tell me the packet is leaking. I rush down to see this time not 1 but 3 packs are damaged. I decide to return the pack, and i get notified by amazon that i cannot return the product. Well i have cancelled the subscription and now a happy amazon prime customer is dejected with their level of service.

I grew up in southern India where water from tender coconut is sold by street vendors and it is drunk straight from the coconut. It is the most refreshing drink, containing electrolytes for very hot weathers over there. Gatorade and other artificial drinks are very poor substitutes. After having tried the canned coconut waters available in Asian stores, I had given up on coconut water for a decade until I chanced upon these. They are expensive, but it is amazing that one could bottle "authenticity"! No artificial additives, no sugars, no pulps, nothing! It is so good that I don't want to try the mixed varieties that they have. Nothing but pure coconut water for me.

Yummy, healthy, well-sized and fairly priced. But make sure you refrigerate them first or they taste like an orangutan's armpit.

I am so happy with this product I had a severe acid reflux this week and the pharmacist recommended this He said it's a natural remedy for acid reflux & heartburn because its alkaline in nature, which will helps to neutralize excess stomach acid. He also said that it helps in the production of stomach mucus which will help to protects my stomach lining. I was not disappointed. With this and a little bit of diet change and now better. This product helped me a lot so I have added it to my subscribe and saved list so that I will alway have it available when needed. This is a 5 star for me.
