Charlie and Lola: I'm Really Ever So Not Well

The little one saw the very same episode on Prime Video, and fell in love with the cold germs dancing.She loves the book.A bit too "and I say, and she says..." but you can cut the corners while reading.Lola has a cold, she's a bit fussy, and Saint brother Charlie helps her during the long day. Funny and inventive situations, never boring or vulgar.

My nearly three year old loves charlie and Lola, this is brilliant, charlie is so kind to his sister and she returns the care, it's brilliant I have to read it every night !

If you love the programs, you'll love the books. It's easy enough for my 6yr old daughter to read herself and fun for me to read it to her. A nice series to collect.

Ma fille est fan de la série Charlie and Lola. Avant d’aller à l’école, elle aimait Trotro et Ours brun (livre et dessin animé sur youtube) et Peppa Pig (en livre). Maintenant elle ne demande que Charlie and Lola, car elle s’identifie très bien au personnage de Lola. Elle adore regarder cet épisode « I'm Really Ever So Not Well » et avant de se coucher elle demande le livre. (Les microbes de Lola la fascinent). 😊A recommander pour nos bout'choux.

Our two year-old son loves the Charlie & Lola series, both books and DVDs. Each story entertains while weaving in basic lessons about how to manage relationships and situations with friends and family. The characters are a delight. The use of language is sophisticated though still manageable for a toddler. It's fascinating to watch how our son picks up more and more of the verbal complexity each time we read one of the Charlie & Lola books. And he always reaches for them from his bookshelf at bedtime - even Goodnight Moon has been de-throned! This particular story has Charlie negotiating between his little sister who has a cold and wants his attention versus his soccer buddy who is counting on him for the big game.

My daughter loves to watch Charlie & Lola on TV or DVD and so do I - the stories are simply written and yet so engaging you can read them over and over to your pre-schooler and they enjoy them every time. I highly recommend this book to anyone with a small child in their family who likes bedtime stories read to them before they sleep - none of these books is overly long, but they are cute and often very funny to read (I have laughed aloud while reading sometimes!). Lauren Child is highly awarded and deservedly so - all parents, guardians, baby sitters and grand parents will love reading these books!

My daughters, 5 and 2, LOVE Charlie and Lola's show on the Disney Channel. The books make terrific bedtime stories as they aren't too long and are lighthearted.I bought this book when my 5 year old was sick and missed her very first day of school. She was so upset by it that we got online and purchased it so she had something to look forward to getting in the mail. When the 2 year old got sick the very next week, the book was the first thing my 5 year old wanted to do to cheer her up.Great series.

with my granddaughter. She has many of the books, and some of the videos. The tenor of this series is low key, and rather calming. It is nice how big brother very kindly and calmly steers Lola on the right path when she veers off a little, as smaller kids are apt to do. Charming stories that kids seem to really like. Cute illustrations, too.
