Secure and easy to use
My dog's paws are now safe on our daily walks thanks to these disposable boots. They're easy to put on and the adhesive keeps them secure, even on longer walks. Waterproof feature is a plus, keeping his paws dry through puddles. A simple solution that's made a big difference in our outdoor adventures.

Not bad
Used on 2 dogs one post op and one with a sore paw. They did OK. One is the grandmaster of chewing so did not survive, but then nothing does for long, so you will need to gauge your own dog re this. This other tolerated it quite well. Did work, but suggest for single use short measure as not robust enough stitching to endure more. As an interim support item think they can help and price reasonable.

Good for medicinal purposes
My boy sometimes reacts to certain foodstuff which makes his feet itchy and he chews at them. I placed these boots on him to deter his itching and they were still on in the morning so I was very impressed! However, if you have a dog who would more enthusiastically chew at them, they could probably get them off fairly easily.I found the boots slightly hard to get on because my boy has a lot of hair on his legs but we got there in the end. If you have a short-haired dog this would be much easier. The individual boots don't have their own individual fasteners. You actually get a roll of tape separate to cut to size. I liked the tape. It isn't sticky, it sticks to itself and is very effective.I'm not sure how robust these boots would be for a long walk but I intend to use them the next time our roads have been gritted to avoid the salt touching my boy's feet. These are great to have on hand for medicinal purposes.

Do the job, but a bit tricky to open
One of our dogs recently cut her foot and had to have it sewn up at the vet, which meant she needed to keep it covered afterwards. These disposable boots came in handy - they went on easily (she is a Jack Russell Terrier, to give you an idea of her foot size, though she had a small bandage and this boot size was large), and the included tape meant they stayed on (it’s not sticky, more elasticated so that it grips onto itself). I did find that they were a bit fiddly to open, and that it was best to get it opened before I tried to put it on her foot, as there was no way she would stay still and wait while I did it!Good value at the current price of £7.39 for 20.

Work well
I got these because my boy dog hates having his nails clipped so sometimes his claw ends up bleeding. So thought these would be good. So far I've had no complaints.

Fairly thick, a bit too small for my Old English Sheepdog
I got these to use on my day as she had some sore pads we needed to keep clean. You get 20 covers, and a roll of co-adhesive bandage to secure the socks onto the dog. I got size large which has a guide up to 35kg. My dog is 27kg and these were too small. They went on okay but even when the bandage was relatively tight they slipped off on walks. In my opinion they aren’t long enough for a larger dog so I would say a size large would be ideal for a medium sized dog.

Lightweight
This kit arrived with a ziploc bag of boots and a sealed bag with a roll of tape inside an extra plastic bag. They describe the tape as self adhesive, so once I'd finally found the end of the roll I was concerned that it didn't feel even vaguely sticky. But I discovered you need to overlap the ends and press the upper piece down firmly - it then holds in much the same way a hook and look (velcro) fastener would. One of my teddies kindly allowed to me to practice on his foot.....The outer layer of the boot (which, when held upside down as in my photo, looks a bit like one of the ghosts in Pacman to me) feels like the brushed cotton sheets I had as a child, whilst the inside has a slight plastic feel to it.I took one boot, popped a large tube of toothpaste into it, then sat it in a tall beaker of water (not high enough to come over the top of the boot). As I put it in I mashed it around a bit, as if a dog were lifting and dropping a foot. I then left it for about 20 minutes and went and checked on it. The inside felt as if it were damp, but then I realised it could just be the cold coming through. So I took a good sized piece of thin tissue, popped that into the sock, and squeezed the sock so that any water inside would transfer. The tissue was bone dry. I then popped the sock (with toothpaste foot) back in for another 30 minutes and repeated the tissue test - still dry. But the boot had then become soft enough that I could stretch it widthways so it almost becomes a square and I could easily put my ifist into it. There's no stretch at all from top to bottom. I pulled both ways with as much force as I could for several minutes, and the boot showed no sign of damage (other than now being a different shape). However, after playing with the boot on and off for about 20 minutes after taking it out of the water the 'seam' came apart. Although it looks to be stiched, it would appear it isn't - it's just two rubbery strips held together by stamping a stitch effect onto it. Because of this I'd make sure to carry at least one spare boot (and the tape) whilst walking a dog in one of these until I was 100% confident that a boot could last the stress of a walk. And for this reason I've only given 4 stars.

Good for sore paws
This is a pack of paw covers with bandage roll to secure. I got this as my pup had cracked pads on his feet which were sore so wanted to keep them clean and comfortable on walks. These worked well and secured nicely, ideal for walks but he wouldn't keep them on in the house and pulled them off but he was able to walk normally with them on outside. These were a good size with plenty of room for my 11kg cavapoo, recommended.
