Yes, it's a little expensive, but definitely worth the price. This is great quality cable with extremely nice jacketing. I used a couple short of runs, of this cable, between my deep cycle battery and my power inverter, and couldn't be happier with it. Stripping was easy, crimpling was a breeze. The jacket / insulation is silky smooth, the correct thickness, and nice and flexible. The stranded copper cable is the correct size / gauge, as spec'd. Will definitely order more as I expand my home's solar backup system.

Anytime I order wire based on price tag, I tend to expect the least from it. This wire is something that almost falls into the premium level as far as flexibility and actual wire gauge. It's odd that its printed measurement markings are not simple 1 foot marks. It's like it as been wheeled off of a huge spool, because my foot numbers were in the 90 to 105 foot range. I'm using the red for replacement battery to starter wire, and some of the black will be used for block to chassis grounding.

Using this cable to power a new winch on our tilt trailer. It has a lot of pulling power and will need power. The cable is very flexible which I needed for connecting from the battery mounted to the trailer frame, and the tilt bed. I curled the cable up to keep it up when the bed is down. The cable does have an odor. Since my application is outdoors, it is not a problem. Most applications would also not be in living areas. Not a problem in by case, but may be in yours if it does not dissipate.

Great quality

This stuff is very flexible and has heft. It’s not brittle, nor does the jacked crumble. I’m a small business shop and can’t afford the BIG BRANDS… so I make them for a quarter of the price. Just don’t forget to purchase dielectric grease and if you can, cut a bit more sheathing off so you can fold it in half before inserting the copper compression tap under the hex screws. This is an update as I’ve also purchased their 15 foot 2 gauge cables…and I’ll buy them again.

This cable is great very thick to make solar battery and inverter cables ,as mentioned in other reviews it does have a slight odour but it's hardly noticeable unless you get it right under your schnozzer and have a good sniff

Very good quality copper wire

I bought this to run from the 48VDC batteries to my UPS inverter. Stripped nice, crimped into connectors nice, very flexible for routing. I would / will buy again.
