These worked perfectly for holding my books onto my bookshelf that has open ends. I do wish that the gripper stickers stayed on better, but that has nothing to do with the bookends themselves. I love that they’re clear so the look of the shelf isn’t ruined! And they are nice and sturdy. I bought several sets!!

These acrylic bookends are truly beautiful. I agree with other reviews: it is a bit time consuming to open up the protective film. However, these films protected the bookend to be delivered in excellent condition. I bought similar bookends from another seller without the protected film, and those bookends arrived with scratches everywhere.

Works as described. Each side of the acrylic has a tab to help you peel off the plastic. I found I had to scratch the tab onto the plastic so it can actually help pull it off. Otherwise you need a knife to peel a corner. Then you add the rubber bottoms to them. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. None arrived damaged.

I like that it's transparent. It literally is strong enough to hold books. An aesthetically, it doesn't ruin the bookshelf, will be buying more

Very difficult to remove the film coverings compared to ones I have purchased from other companies. I had to use sharp tools because the tabs pull right off and do not help to remove the film covers. They function just fine, but I will not purchase these again from this company. I would rather pay more elsewhere and not have to fight to remove the film covering.

Originally, I bought from a different company because my husband didn’t want to spend as much. Books were falling everywhere. They did not work. These are 2” taller and not flimsy at all. I love that I can place a single light weight book and front face it at an angle. Other books are also front facing just for interest and I’ve used the bookends for those as well. I did not use the scratch resistance pads yet because the shelves are new and still a work in progress, but I don’t feel they are needed (at least not yet). In the picture with the globe, I didn’t use any bookends since that shelf is full of soft chapter books. They seem to hold on their own, but for the hard back picture books, I needed these in order to pull an individual book out and not have books falling over. I am very pleased with these bookends. I’ve used almost all of the two boxes ordered and will be back for more when I start my next project.

I mostly love these. Affordable, unobtrusive, just what I wanted. The one problem is they’re not particularly strong. I had one snap because too many large heavy books were leaning against it—which I did not do on purpose, I guess they shifted. Loud frightening CRACK and I thought I had a poltergeist. Creepy. But other than that I do love them and just ordered some more.

Love them. Do the job and don’t even know they are there.
