I don't know if Bob Ross copied M Alexander's techniques to come up with his own style but it very much reminds me of Bob Ross.  An excellent book with beautiful pictures to copy and/or drool over.  Most of the landscapes are typically American but can be translated to fit whatever part of the world you live in.  Overall a good book for any aspiring artist to have in their library.

I enjoy these books they are thin but good value all the same, this one the style is a bit Bob Ross type
