I have had two beautiful bengal kitties in my life. One gold and his partner in crime, a silver one. Two months ago the male died of lymphoma cancer at only 12 years old. The female has been inconsolable. I haven't been doing so great myself. I went online roughly two month ago to find a blanket and the very first one I saw was the Leopard Print with the two kitties on the one side and the male's rich golden colored hair on the other. I took it as fate and bought it. It looks great in person and is identical to the picture. It looks good out of the box but is a little heavy and the hair feels synthetic. I'd say both are pretty normal to what I am used to in this sort of product. iBecause it's a little weighty I started sleeping on top of it and discovered it will keep you just as warm as if you were underneath it so I didn't dock it any stars. Both she and I have been using it every night for two months now. It's soft and really comfortable against my skin. The female kitty just purrs and lies with me on it nearly every night. She still wanders the rooms meowing while looking for him sometimes but the blanket seems to console her when she returns. I waited almost two months before reviewing this to see how it does under heavy use and haven't had a single problem. I think the quality is good good for the price ymmv. I think you'll get your value for the money. Sometimes the universe sends us what we need at just the right moment.

I bought this throw to cover our couch 1. To make it softer and warmer and 2. To go with our cabin style decor in our living room. The fit is large enough to cover our couch and it definitely makes our couch softer and warmer. The problem with it is it sheds. It sheds hairs and clumps of hair that then stick to our clothing and the rug we have in front of the couch. I've found the hair in our food which is really unpleasant. I was hoping after having it for a while it would stop but we're 2 months in and still happening. It looks great but the shedding is a pain. I have to really work to get the vacuum to pick it up as it wants to stick in the rug fibers. I am thinking of washing it to see if it helps since it is machine washable but not sure if it'll fit in my washer. To sum it up...nice heavy throw, looks great but the shedding is the pits. 👎

I purchased the 90 x 90 Gold with black edges. It looks beautiful on my bed. It is soft and fluffy. It reminds me of the fur you find on good quality stuffed animals. I washed it before putting on my bed. Though It is heavy, I have a large washer, It is no heavier than a medium weight comforter. So, if you wash your comforters at home you should be fine with this. However, drying is delicate. I put it on air dry (no heat) for first hour. Then on lowest heat setting for 30 minutes and back to air dry for 30 minutes until dry. I think it took about two hours but worth it for this piece. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for the faux fur experience.

That it's not bigger! I sure wish it was available in the next size up, a 'California King' (which my bed is not.) It does cover the top of my bed ok, but barely goes over the sides. OH, and why not have an even LARGER size than that? We could call it the 'Jumbo-King'! That way I could really lay it on thick and stage it up like some Game of Thrones set. What I love: It looks really nice (I got the gray version, and the color variation is impressive and convincing as fur) It’s super soft and silky out of the package It’s really warm (almost too warm; I got this to use as a throw on my bed through the winter, but unless it’s very cold where you’re at, this is probably too warm—it doesn’t breathe) It doesn’t shed like I expected it would What I don’t love: Even without washing (just with normal use as a top-layer over my bedding—it doesn’t even come in contact with my skin) anyplace it doesn’t lay totally flat overnight, the fibers became tangled and matted within days. I bought a pet brush and detangling spray, laid it flat, and spent a good 30 minutes combing through the fibers. It helped a little, but it’s never gotten back to the initial softness. It’s in storage now for the summer, we’ll see how it does this winter. I guess if you use it as a decorative throw on your couch and never touch it, it looks great. Bottom line, I was really impressed for the first few days, but quickly found the silky softness doesn’t last. I don’t have 30 minutes so spend brushing and conditioning a throw blanket every morning—I might even try clipping the fibers shorter so they don’t tangle as readily…
