I'm returning to Fortinet at home after using a different vendor for a couple years, and the capabilities are even more robust and impressive than ever. Despite what another comment here implies, it is definitely possible to connect this switch directly to a FortiGate and use FortiLink for management -- it works right out of the box and is super-convenient. The only functional limitation I've encountered so far is that NAC segments are not functional in that configuration.

As described. Be aware, this model needs a l3 device between it and a Fortigate for Fortilink to work. You can't connect it to a Fortigate and use Fortilink. It can be managed by the gui/serial or cloud if you go that route. Its a great managed switch for edge use cases.
