I Put it to the Test!
Bought this to use with a contemporary mesh-middle unitard as part of a bellydance costume. The costume has a halter back & "cold shoulder" sleeves so the strapless bra was a great and necessary under garment. We were dancing with silk veils so there was a lot of arm and upper body movement in the dance. The bra worked perfectly! It did not slip or twist or give me any anxiety during the performance so I highly recommend it. I bought a size larger than I normally wear and it worked out fine....I did not want to risk "Back Cleavage" given the halter-style back. It fit nicely all the way around me and there were no "spill overs" anywhere....so not too tight & it held me firmly and in a flattering way, yet not binding, that I did not have to constantly tug at to feel secure. It is also very comfortable. The material is opaque & thick enough that there is no insecurity about it being see through. I have seen these bras also worn with cute overalls so I may be ordering a couple more in different colors to wear with the overalls in summer. Hope this helps someone!

Right on the money!!!
I hate bras, full stop. However, some tops need some lift, so they are necessary. Enter: Shapermint! This bra is amazing and crazy comfy while also keeping the girls from the ground. They hold up well, are smooth in all my bumpy parts and it holds up!!! The convertible straps are awesome, but going strapless doesn’t hurt either. And for less than $40, it was a dream. Plus size anything wants an arm and a leg, but not this. As far as sizing everyone is different but if my body reminds you of yourself I strictly went off the chart. I’m a 44D, so I got a 3X and everything is in and nothing is falling out. It’s the fit every girl dreams of. And I’ve had this bra since April so this is not a “I just got it review” so much so, I think there might have been cups in there, but I don’t like cups either, which means in this picture you cannot see the girls poking from the thickness of just the bra. & I have piercings so most times you can totally see at least the balls. Anyway, is this bra worth it?? Yes! So much so I bought the sweetheart bra in June and have yet to give a review because I just realized I don’t have any pics to go with it. If you’re tired of turning your bra around your whole body, flexing unused muscles to get to your back, or plan old traditional bras, save yourself the hassle and get you one of these.

Better Than I Expected (plus- sized review)
🙋🏾♀️ABOUT ME: As you can see by the photo, I am a thicker girl. I don’t have demure boobs that will sit quietly and behave themselves like civilized girls. Mine are rebels. My girls are NOT paid actors and attempt escape at any opportunity provided. My girls are NOT paid actors and attempt escape any any opportunity provided. I also don’t trust size charts becaue a lot of things are made internationally and good Lord they must measure boobage differently or something becaue the sizes are usually horribly off for me. 📝 REVIEW: This is more comfortable than I expected for a strapless bra. My dimensions: I am 5’2”, about 230lbs and wear anywhere from a 38D to a 40D or 40DD (depending on the bra manufacturer). The XL fit me well. I am even wondering if I could have sized down to a L, but I don’t know if it would have fit me like a tourniquet and made me miserable. Since it is a pullover type bandeau bra that doesn’t have hooks in the back, I also worried that a smaller aize would have forced me to fight to get it on. It is more secure than I expected and I would be comfortable engaging in light activities such running errands, going out to dinner, etc. I would not trust this bra to hold my girls in their assigned seats if I was doing something very rigorous that involved lots of bouncing ta-tas unless I used the included straps. Also , it has a silicone grippy strip across the top of the bra but not at the bottom for some reason. The bra does not give a lot boob definition since it doesn’t have underwire or anything, but I’m fine with that since the shirt I needed it for is kinda baggy and flowy. It has two mildly padded cups on the inside. Overall, I am impressed. I bounced around a bit in the house and it didn’t fall down without the straps . I still wouldn’t trust it to NOT betray me and let my girls pull a Shawshank Redemption during heavy activity without straps. Hope this review helped.

Comfy but silhouette isn't great
I purchased this to wear with square neck and backed tops and dresses. My dress size is 20 and I'm 4'11. My normal bra size is 44DD so I ordered per the chart a 3X. Pros: It came quickly and seems well made. The fabric is soft and stretchy but has body to it as well. It is VERY comfy! And it fits well in that it doesn't dig in, pinch or bind anywhere. Would be great to wear @ home when you don't care about silhouettes or how your tops fit. Cons: There just isn't enough support for heavy girls, and they look saggy and squished down. I have a lot of tissue @ the top of my girls and this just pushes them down. So the dress I was planning to wear this with gapes up top and is tight below. I will be returning.

Nope
Listen, all you large booby ladies (40DD here). You're going to want to fall for this trap because it's wireless and you think it will be ok. You will think, "Look at these other ladies who have had success, I'll try it too!" It won't be. Listen to this truth: buy a strapless bra with underwire and some fashion tape. You're welcome. This bra just wasn't it. I needed a strapless bra for a wedding guest dress. I'm a big booby girl. I hate strapless bras, and actively avoid tops that require strapless. But I was it a bind and needed one. So I tried it. Terrible. It made my boobs look terrible and the worst part was that the top tube part showed through every dress I tried on. I can't even describe it other than sausage roll. And the bra fit. It felt comfortable. It was not too tight. It is just the make. So, because I waited until the last minute, I was screwed. I ended up cutting the straps off an old bra, runnjng to CVS for some fashion tape, and taping the top of my makeshift strapless bra so my boobs didn't fall out. Honestly, I would do this in the future rather than purchase this bra. I had much more support than this bra offered and my boobs actually looked like boobs. I wanted to love it. I'm glad some ladies do. But for anything that requires leaving the house and looking decent, get yourself a good underwire strapless bra (or make your own like my redneck self did) and some boob tape. Thank me later.

Strapless
So comfortable that you forget you are wearing a bra and great stay in place

My girls are supported! The description and picture are accurate!
The bra is very nice and sturdy. The fabric is soft and stretchy while still feeling true to size. Your breast won’t be defined but they will be supported and that back will be smooth! The bra stays in place, very nice! My only issue is when going strapless it takes me longer to get the back of this bra situated by myself since don’t have the straps to tug it up and in place. The bra comes with two sets of straps, clear and the matching color of the bra. I’m purchasing a couple more colors.

The only bra I ever want to wear again.
I bought the Shapermint Convertible Strapless Bra because it had the option to be a bandeau style bra. The strap option is a bonus that I’m not sure I’ll ever use, it’s still nice to have the choice. One of the big draws for Shapermint is that they offer a huge variety of sizes that a lot of other bra makers and shapewear companies do not. I own a couple of their products and love them. I have neck, shoulder, and back issues; after years of wearing a bra, the straps have started to cause an issue, they pinch the nerves in my shoulders, and it causes pain right down to my fingertips. I can’t put into words how much I genuinely despise having to wear a bra, having large breasts, I can’t really get away with walking around without one even if I had a tank top or cami under my clothing. For years I have been shopping around for a strapless and have been disappointed consistently. When I saw the original band style bras, I was cautiously optimistic but that didn’t yield any better results until recently. The material is very good quality, it doesn’t feel like thick gauze you see with many of these. It fits true to size; I was worried about this because I’m right at the edge of needing to go up a size. I got some advice here from other shoppers and sure enough, perfect fit. I bought the beige which is, well beige. I wanted to be able to wear it with anything, so it does work well for that. The built in cups, I was actually shocked, shocked! that they fit correctly, normally I cut them out because they’re terrible, but these are fantastic. The silicone grips really keep it from sliding, another pleasant shock. There is also no issues with fat bulges, it's completely smooth along your body as long as it fits correctly. I had the opportunity to put this bra to the test immediately. I was woken up for a doggy emergency and literally rolled out of bed and rushed to the vet’s office. I threw on the Shapermint bra since it was the first one I could find and we had zero time to waste. My dog is about 80lbs; there was a lot of running involved, wrestling her into the car, etc. First, my dog is perfectly healthy, second, this bra didn’t slip once and no popping out. Issues with this bra; if I have to nitpick it’s not the most supportive bra and in certain shirts can cause a unibreast situation. The price kept me from ordering it for a long time. The big issue I had, and I don’t think this is indicative of the overall quality of their products, is some stitch issues and it sort of frayed where the hook loops are. I could have lived with that, unfortunately some stitching above the cups started coming out completely. Hopefully since it’s been under 30 days I can exchange it. Updates: None of this would be worth it if this bra wasn't truly, very good. I might want to be buried in it. Problems I've run into: receiving Truekind instead of Shapermint. Shapermint owns both companies and they are very similar but I think Shapermint fits and feels better. Since fulfillment is being done through Amazon, I'm not entirely sure what or where the issue is. I received a Truekind instead of a Shapermint both when exchanging my first purchase and making a second and separate order. Shapermint's customer service has been great and are sending me a replacement (actual Shapermint) and I cannot be happier with their service which is why I bumped this up to a 4 over a 3. Customer service to me has as much to do with product satisfaction as the product itself. I would urge anyone who orders this bra and is dissatisfied to double check the brand you received. Having a Shapermint makes a huge difference to me starting with size. The Truekind bras are at least an inch smaller than the Shapermint despite both being an XL.
