What I was thankful for was the fact that these purported to be 3 foot cables are actually 41.5" tip to tip, thereby providing a little more slack in my application so that I didn't have to go up to the 6 footers. I'm using them in a high end home theater system for the processor preouts to the amp ins to replace RCAs. All of them work flawlessly. I anticipate upgrading my pre-pro to one that has only XLRs, so I need these anyway. Construction of these looks solid. I would buy again.

I'm writing more just to say I can't believe I actually received the correct length cables. I've had bad luck in that I've been receiving cables that are shorter than what I actually ordered. It's even more frustrating when the replacement items are the same exact incorrect items. Or the cable is not returnable. You're stuck with twice the wrong items at half the price. Not good. I'm happy to pay full price for the correct item.

Robust quality for a audio routing in the studio. Looking to buy more in the future. The bundle works great for my Eqs and compression gear for recordings.

I'm using the red and blue for left and right sends to a mixer to wireless in ears.The cables are made of "high performance OFC audio cable". They are what I would consider a standard diameter. I tested all four cable and they passed continuity. The color markers are a part of the sleeve and are not removable. The lengths vary slightly. The cables fit snugly in the jacks, and the release mechanisms were easy to press.Trying each cable in the mixer and listening with headphones, I didn't hear any noise. I also jiggled the cable while connected and didn't hear any crackling or popping.It would have been nice if the black color marker were green, orange, white, etc. I already have a few 3-foot XLR cables that are all black.Overall, these cables seemed to be quality-built, sturdy, and clean-sounding.

These XLR cables are excellently designed and perform well proving the makers have thought about the important issues when making these. From the use of OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) for the signal cables, to the plated terminals to prevent corrosion, locking connectors to ensure they do not come loose by accident and the strain relief collars to protect the connection between the plugs and the cable, everything seems to be covered.Provided in 1m (3 ft) lengths they may seem short, but if being used to connect say a microphone to a mixer, or a pre-amp, or whatever you sound system consists of these are long enough without being a nuisance by being too long. Of course if you need a very long lead for say a microphone used on stage then you will need to look elsewhere. But for small studios or podcast setups they are ideal. In case you need to use multiple connections these leads have also been colour coded so you know straightaway which lead is which.Sound quality seems superb and definitely is an improvement on the cable I was using to connect my mic to my mixer, this is likely in part to the OFC cables, but all the components mentioned contribute to the whole.In my opinion these are great value at less than £10 each for what are approaching professional quality cables.

Great selection of 4 cables, usefully colour coded so used as interconnects in a rack they are easily identifiable. They definitely feel quality with a soft flexible cable that feels as though it would stand up to being thrown around in a gig environment.Used to interconnect mixer output to amp and there is no hiss or hum as the cable gives a clean connection. The connectors are painted black and feel quality, they give a positive click when connected showing a good firm connection.Working out at £7.50 per cable not the cheapest but also initiall feelings are good value for money for a quality cable.

I got these to connect two radio mic receivers, each with two mics, to an amp all used for karaoke. I was previously using cables that were far too long, as the receivers and amp are generally located quite close to each other.
