I think its faulty or broken or something. My son keeps beating me. It can't be me. Lol haha. Magnetic pull is perfect strength. It keeps the play pieces held, doesn't fall off. the felt is nice and form fitting. It's a great size. Perfect size actually. Nice look about it. Worth every penny. Fun to play. Would be even better if I won. XD

This is my first chess board. It is very nice, especially for the price. It holds the pieces well, and will make travel easy. The magnets hold the pieces in place but also make the pieces feel the perfect weight. I love this set and glad I bought it.

Very impressed with the quality of this set for what it cost. Really nice wood board and pieces. The pieces all have a snug home on the underside of the board so you can store it nicely. I love how it is magnetic. A benefit of the magnetic pieces I didn’t anticipate is it makes the pieces feel extra weighty when you place them. Excellent value.

The family loves this chess board and pieces. The magnetic base keeps the pieces from moving at will if the table or board is bumped. The pieces are a good size and built with quality along with two additional queens. Great value for the money.

I bought this set for my boys. They are ages 9-13 and have really enjoyed it! The look and feel of this set is well made and the magnets are strong enough that the game can even be played in the car! The design and storage capacity are just as expected. This is a great set for any age to play with!

What I really liked about the scent was the fact that magnetic and the pieces for the most part stay where they need to be once moved. Decent quality.

Not a fancy chess board, but definitely not junk, I have found it to be worth the money. If you are wanting a travel friendly chess board, that's not expensive nor junk either, this chess board will should satisfy you.

Seems to be built well, and the design of the interior makes it unbelievably satisfying to open when pieces are placed on opposite sides. 15" is a good size for portability, and the latches while a little flimsy have a satisfying click. 4 stars, because the magnets inside the pieces are varying quality but magnetic nonetheless. Overall? Hard to beat this price for a magnetic set. And complete with Extra Queens too? Easy. Satisfied with my purchase, absolutely.
