Power outlet is low but I have a blank at the right height** A: It should as long as the blank is screwed in tight to the junction box. If the blank is loose the bracket which holds the shelf will not stay in place. I hope that makes sense. It gives enough room to use both outlets assuming a normal sized plug is being plugged in.
