The media could not be loaded. For the most part this is a pretty good product for a cheap practice skin (true skin is far superior, for $20 a sheet.) But, it is not 3mm thick, maybe a light 2mm. If it had been 3mm, my rating would be higher.

So many of the practice skins out there are thin or only big enough for some flash or a mid-size tattoo at most. These skins are 3mm thick and almost as large as a letter-size piece of paper, so you have tons of room to work. They’re boxed, but the box was pretty flimsy and already coming apart on arrival; however the skins were still safely wrapped and unmarred.They take stencil ink and ink from a needle very well. I’ll definitely order these again!

I’ve been learning how to tattoo for the past few months, and I truly like practicing on this 3MM tattoo practice skin. It’s thick, so it allows for practice on both sides, yet it’s flexible enough to lay over a rounded mold to get familiar with working on areas that aren’t fully flat. It accepts ink well and so far, my stencils have easily traced onto it to then work on tattooing. I’ve worked with fine, wide shading, and round liners, all without issue, although I had some sticking issues with the fine, but that’s likely user error while learning so rely on professionals if you want more information on suitability for makeup/etc. tattooing on this practice skin. I’ve love being artistic, and I love tattoos, so I thought I’d marry the two passions together. This set is so far the best that I have tried. I want a lot of practice before I ever touch needle to live skin and this feels like a really good analog for learning, plus it allows you to try different depths and angles, to find what is most comfortable and suitable for your design, without hurting anyone. A full 5 stars for this enthusiastic amateur.

A little thick, but not too stiff to work with. Definitely good to get a feel for needle depth. Overall worth looking into for good practice.
