Would be perfect if smaller portions were an option
My cat has been eating from the Wopet for a little more than a week. This is the first automatic pet feeder I’ve ever used, and I’m really pleased so far. I had this feeder in my Amazon cart for a few months while deciding if it was really necessary, and I wish I would have ordered it sooner. My cat eats both wet and dry foods (currently three wet food meals and three dry food meals each day), and I wanted to automate his dry food feedings that occur while I’m sleeping or away from home. This feeder has already made a huge difference in our household. I can finally sleep through the night, and I don’t have to rush home to feed him during the day.The feeder was pretty easy to set up in just a few minutes. A helpful user manual is included. I hand-washed the components after unboxing everything, and the manual’s diagrams made assembly simple. The feeder’s timer uses the 24-hour clock/military time, so if you aren’t familiar with that convention, consult a conversion chart and write down the feeding times you’d like to schedule before attempting setup. So far, every feeding has been dispensed at exactly the time scheduled. My cat was used to eating wet and dry food from flat porcelain plates that are about 6.5” in diameter, so I wasn’t surprised when he refused to eat from the provided metal bowl, which is about 1.5” deep x 6.5” in diameter. (Some cats don’t like for their whiskers to touch the sides of bowls. They also can resist eating from plates and bowls made from materials they aren’t accustomed to.) I tried placing one of his usual plates on top of the provided bowl assembly since it was the same diameter and slid on top perfectly, but I don’t think he liked his food and his whiskers being that close to the feeder. I ended up removing the bowl assembly and trying several options (including just letting the food fall directly onto the floor). Ultimately, a dinner plate placed on the floor and pushed against the feeder was the best solution. He seemed more comfortable with the additional distance between the feeder and his food and whiskers, and a plate this size contains the food well so that I don’t have to clean a lot of stray kibble from around the feeder when it shoots out. I think my cat initially was a little afraid of the sound the food made when dispensed from the unit, but after about a week, he seemed used to it.My only real complaint about this product is the available portion sizes. My cat eats Solid Gold Indigo Moon dry food, with kibble approximately the diameter of a hole punch (1/4”) and a thickness of around 1/16”. I used to manually feed him 1/2 of a tablespoon on a plate per serving, but the Wopet’s smallest available portion size dispenses almost 1.5 tablespoons of this particular food. As a result, I had to adjust the portion sizes and the number of daily feedings of both his wet and dry foods to account for this discrepancy and ensure he eats the correct number of calories each day. I did a lot of research before purchasing this particular feeder, though, and this one seemed to offer the best combination of the smallest portion size and the most meals (up to 6 per day). If anyone from Wopet reads this review, please consider incorporating a 1/2 tablespoon portion size on future models. I would definitely buy one.The only other minor complaint I have concerns the power block that the feeder’s USB cable plugs into. It sticks out of the wall 1.75”, and then the USB cable sticks out a bit from the front of that. My cat kept pawing at the power block and USB cable, so I replaced the power block with a compatible one I had for another device that is much flatter against the wall and has the USB port on the bottom instead of the front. The cat hasn’t bothered the power supply or cord since. This final observation probably only applies if you have a rambunctious cat like I do, but the lid only rotates 90 degrees to lock it in place. I wish it had to rotate a full 360 degrees and/or had an additional locking mechanism as my cat has watched me refill the hopper several times, and I think he’s learning how to open the lid. If your cat is extra curious like mine is, you might want to use a small piece of tape to secure the lid to the hopper and avoid any surprises. I assume he’s going to knock over the feeder at some point when he wants an extra snack between meals.Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and recommend this particular feeder to anyone who wants the flexibility and convenience of an auto feeder. If anything changes as we continue to use it, I’ll come back to update this review.

Great feeder
The media could not be loaded. The feeder is easy to program & works great, but the power cord is the worst, it is loose & falls out constantly from the feeder. I ordered a replacement and the company went an extra mile & reached out to rectify the issue. They were willing to refund for the whole feeder. I settled for a refund of the replacement power cord

Sad
Super sad to say my automatic feeder has taken a turn for the worse. The time keeps resetting and the sensor light came on even though there's food in the storage part.It worked well for the time it did. But it's no longer usable :(

REVISION- See add-on to this review Great potential. Good design if only it worked.
Initial 1 ☆ review: It has all the attributes I wanted in a pet feeder. Unfortunately, it wouldn't power up.This was probably an anomaly but I replaced it with another brand with less capability not being willing to try it again, even with easy returns.REVISED REVIEW:I am revising my earlier review of this pet feeder because I have received one and tested it.I try to be as honest as I am able in any review and will be in this one.I related that the unit didn't power upThe manufacturer contacted me to say that they had corrected the power problem and asked that I review the latest version. They sent one to me at no cost for testing.I found it to be a very good feeder. Unlike the one I bought instead, this one comes apart in several places for cleaning, including the rotor. It is not difficult to program provided one reads the instructions and follows them carefully. Once programmed, times and portions can be changed without reprogramming. The other feeder was much more difficult to program- an error made usually meant starting over. The Wopet is unlike thisIf you think I am gushing over the Wopet I am not. However, it has a number of well thought out attributes: easy disassembly for cleaning, a removable metal saucer, paper saucers to reduce cleaning and well written instructions.I tested it for days and it kept the schedule correctly, putting out the correct number of portions as programmed. In summary this feeder works as the posting says it will.

Overall simple and easy to use pet feeder
I tried out this pet feeder for my bunny. The feeder was easy to set-up and follow the instructions to get it all set-up for automatic feedings. You can also set the feeder for a manual feeding and even record a message for your pet when they get fed!It took a little trial and error to figure out the portion sizes since for rabbits it’s important for them to not overeat pellets but once that was figured out the feeder worked well. It is also easy to take apart and clean.Overall this is great if you are looking for a simple feeder (ie. no camera, or phone app) once you get the portion sizes figured out and set.

Awesome pet feeder
I bought 2 of these to make sure my cats were getting fed their usual diet at their usual times while I went out of town for vacation. So far I have no complaints....these are awesome automatic feeders. They hold a lot of cat food, I think I might have to fill them every 2 weeks or so. Super easy to set up, multiple serving options, and can choose multiple feeding times. You can also record a message to call your cat to the bowl when it's feeding time too, however if your cats are anything like mine, they will run to the dispenser at the first sound of food falling in the bowl. Has been one of the best investments ever, can finally sleep past 5am without my cats waking me up to feed them myself. I had tried a different feeder before I bought 2 of these, it was one feeder that split off into 2 bowls, however I found this to be superior so my cats could have more space and it holds more food. Would highly recommend, great price for a great product.

Love it!
It takes a couple of tries to figure out the right portions, but once you get it, it works great! This is the only feeder we use and it is specially very helpful when we are not at home since we know that our kitty is not going to miss any feed. I highly recommend it.
