Very Impressed!
I'm Looking forward to the summer and camping! I have a cheaper one of these I got a year ago-ish. I was impressed by them but then I got this baby. The widescreen within is easy to see. I keep having issues reaching the focus wheel but that's probably due to being used to another one where the wheel was a little more obvious. The rubber that seals your eyes into the divide is spot on. It feels nice and looks easy to clean after a long summer of nature watching. This goes for the neck strap too. One side is a rubber grip (Good for damp days) the other sponge (Great for hot days). The 32GB is already installed. All you need to do is format it to make sure all is in order. You charge this up via the supplied USBc. There is a port under the device to be able to add this to a mono pole/tripod etc. I found this device works best at night. It looks like the day settings are more of a bonus. Remember to remove the left lens cap to get the night vision working correctly. All in all, for £170 I found it great. there are cheaper ones and more expensive ones. I found that this is the correct price for this mid-range entry. 5*****

perform admirably in complete darkness
Excited to enhance my camping experiences, I recently acquired the Night Fox Night Vision Goggles. These goggles promised to revolutionize how I engage with the natural world after sunset, and I was eager to test their capabilities. Unboxing and First Impressions: The package included the night vision goggles, a USB-C charging cable, and a user manual. The inclusion of a USB-C cable is a welcome modern touch, ensuring compatibility with current charging standards. The user manual was exceptionally clear and concise, making it easy to understand the operational nuances of the goggles right out of the box. Design and Usability: Equipped with six buttons and a manual focus roller wheel, the goggles are designed to be user-friendly. However, I encountered a slight usability issue with the manual focus wheel. Although functional, its small size makes it difficult to locate and adjust in complete darkness, which can be frustrating when quick focus adjustments are needed. Performance in Darkness: The goggles perform admirably in complete darkness, fulfilling their primary function. The ability to see clearly in such conditions is impressive, making these goggles a valuable tool for nighttime activities. The added zoom feature is beneficial for bringing distant objects into clearer view, although it comes with a caveat. Zoom Function and Image Quality: While the zoom capability is a useful feature, it noticeably reduces the image quality. This degradation can detract from the experience, particularly when observing wildlife or navigating through complex terrains. The zoom feels like it could have been better optimized to maintain more of the original image clarity. Overall Experience: Despite the minor issues with the focus wheel and zoom, the Night Fox Night Vision Goggles are impressive. They provide clear and effective night vision, which is exactly what I needed for my camping trips. The challenge of locating buttons in the dark is a small trade-off for the overall benefits these goggles provide. Conclusion: The Night Fox Night Vision Goggles are a solid choice for anyone looking to explore or navigate in low-light conditions. They offer clear night vision capabilities, although improvements could be made in terms of the accessibility and functionality of the focus and zoom features. For campers, hikers, or anyone needing to see in the dark, these goggles add a significant edge to nocturnal adventures.

A good set of Infrared goggles, but not worth the upgrade from the Corsac 1.
I've used many products from NightFox before, and was super excited to get a chance to try out the Corsac 2 as part of the Vine program. Unfortunately, NightFox hasn't added enough here in my opinion to justify upgrading over the Corsac 1s. I'd even argue it's worth grabbing some Corsac 1s secondhand instead of paying this increased price for the 2s. The 1080p just doesn't seem to be there. It feels like a sub-par 720p at best. The inability to change resolution, framerate, etc. is a real shame, as it is easily implemented with most sensors in the modern age. The zoom is really bad, with the digital zoom being one of the poorest I've experienced from goggles like these. The build quality is great as I expect from NightFox. These do not dissapoint there. They're comfortable to view through, the neckstrap is comfortable, and they're a reasonable weight. The 18650 battery is nice as they're easy to replace, recharge externally and swap out. The goggles are lightweight, which is nice for longer wear times. The night vision element is good, a little better than the Corsac 1's, but hard to justify the change once again. These do very well in lowlight conditions, and about par in nolight conditions to the Corsac 1's. If you're looking for a basic night vis goggle set, these do the job nicely. But if you're looking for high quality footage, I'd look elsewhere. At this price point, unless they're on sale, it might be better to find some secondhand Corsac 1's instead.

I've been using this to watch orbiting objects in the night sky. The video is pretty noisy, but sort-of expected.

Bottom line up front: a good product, but entirely unsuitable for night hunting. I used the Nightfox Corsac 2 for an 11-hour night hunt for hogs/feral pigs. I stayed in the stand from before sundown until after sunrise. I hope my review below is fair to the product while explaining why you can't use it for night hunting. PROS: - Nightfox is a well known company that builds good quality and reliable products - All of the parts proved to be good quality and rugged, reliable - High quality 18650 battery which can be replaced rather than recharged in the field - The unit is lightweight - Control buttons and menus are easy to understand - The IR illuminator caused bright eye-shine in the animals (see more below) CONS: - Very grainy images at higher digital magnification - At 100 yards the feeder areas and animals were barely recognizable - The screen cannot be focused for your eyesight - The rubber skirt can't work with glasses. I had to hold the unit about 18 inches from my face to see the screen - IR illumination did not improve images even at high power levels, and causes other problems Why is this unsuitable for real-world night hunting? - I was in a stand with two separate 100 yard shooting lanes to the feeders. This proved to be too much distance, especially for the factors below - At higher magnification the images are extremely grainy. I was barely able to tell a racoon from a deer or a pig. - When using the IR illuminator, objects in the foreground at the sides are blinding white, and objects at the center (target) are washed-out grayish black. - The IR illuminator, even at very high levels, did not improve the quality of the images, because the digital display compensates by evening-out the brightness while leaving the images grainy - When it gets really dark, you will absolutely need to use the illuminator, and there are two other side-effects to note: deer and other animals CAN SEE THE IR ILLUMINATION and FOG WILL ABSOLUTELY END YOUR HUNT. - The IR illuminator will light-up the fog just like your car's high beams will light fog up when driving. The result is you are absolutely blind. It happened that the outfitters game camera came on while I was trying to see the feeder area, and for a split second the game camera's IR lit up and the outline of a deer was clear. In other words, it was my IR illuminator that was making the fog an impenetrable visual barrier, and I might otherwise have had a good view of the feeders. - I was not hunting deer at night (which is illegal) but the behavior of the deer was conclusive. At 100 yards, as soon as the IR illuminator came on, the deer turned and stared at my stand. They soon ran off. My guide later mentioned that others had seen the same thing for hogs. Most of my comments relate to ALL night vision that uses IR illumination for total darkness. Again, I tried to be fair with this review but for night hunting, I cannot recommend any IR night vision product for hunting at night.

My mom likes to feed the wildlife and enjoyed watching them until it got too dark to see. She could see movement but not the actual critter. I purchased these and she was a giddy school girl retelling what she saw!! At first, we tried looking out the window but the inferred was reflecting off the glass. Once we opened the window, WOW! The clarity is amazing. She wears glasses and doesn't hold the goggles up to her eyes but looks through them, about 4 inches away, while still wearing her glasses. These goggles are extremely easy to use and not frustrating at all. My mom is techno-challenged and late 86, but is totally in love with these and the ease of use. Would definitely purchase again for backyard use!!

These are awesome. I could hardly wait for them to arrive. Once they did, I charged the unit to full and went outside. I was extremely happy with their performance. I was seeing items I could not find with just my normal eyesight. I have used actual nigh vision, (military grade) and then the cheaper stuff after I left the military. This unit is so far above the standard night vision, unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for Military Grade equipment. You cannot beat them for the price. I found them easy to operate. The unit is very lite weight and comfortable to use. The viewing area is spacious and easy to use. AND, these are not impacted by daylight the way nigh vision is, so they are safe to use any time. I tried to show the three versions of the zoom in my photos, hopefully you can see he difference. The only small negatives which are not significant to me are two items. 1. The weatherproof rubber strip, I have a hard time getting it back over the charging port, so I will be aware of this if operating in wet conditions. 2. I am in my 60's and my eyesight is that of my age, but I did not seem to be able to get a really crisp focus. I could easily see everything I wanted however, so for my use it will fit my needs. I will continue to try the focus wheel and make this as best I can. Please do not get me wrong, I can see 98% of everything, so the picture is still very good, just not crisp if you know what I mean. No problem making out deer, coyotes or other critters at all. In my Opinion, worth the price!
