For me, write speeds are important as I use the cards for high resolution video at maximum fps. See the image to see the headline statistics - you can see the entire surface map is consistently fast, the slowest being 78.11 mbps, the highest being 137.57 mbps. I had also bought a Sandisk Extreme 256GB and tested it using the same apparatus, in fact I tried two brand new cards. Both showed the surface scan to be dotted with dark green squares and whilst the write speed never dropped below 30 mbps, there were quite a few sectors in the 30s. For the faster sectors, the Sandisk was higher, however it is clear to me that the Samsung card is less erratic and will give more consistent performance.
