Pretty impressed for the price.
Can not beat it for the price. Seems to put not so cheapblike some I have seen.Used it a few times now and it works great. I bought 2, 1 for each side of the boat. You won't be disappointed for the price.

The plexiglass or polypropylene was cracked after the very 1st use

Sturdy built with thoughtful features
I really like this light, I've had it hanging in my pond, half in and half out of the water to attract bugs at night for the fish. It's worked great and burns bright. I'm going to make a way to permanently mount it next spring, but for now I've put it up for the winter. It hung in the water for about 15 days without issue. The wire that came on it is plenty long, and came with two ends, one with battery clips and another with a cigarette lighter plug. Both connect to it by a quick detach plug. Overall I'm well satisfied with this light.

Don't waste your money
Second time used and more than half of the led lights are not working. Junk.

Good for more than just fishing
We've taken this out dock fishing. We used a LiFePO motorcycle battery which weighs about a pound and for several hours out it used only a couple percent of the battery. This was a much easier option than dragging around a heavy lead acid battery for power source. If you are out on a boat, this simplifies as you can use one of the marine 12V batteries.We have played with it as a drop beacon light for night scuba diving. It can be seen underwater for quite a way and it simplifies navigation back to the boat at the end of the dive. Setting the light at 15-20 feet gives an easy marker for a post dive safety stop too. And it illuminates the area so you can watch the night life without your own torch attracting all the little critters. Normally we use a strobe for a boat return beacon, but this solid light option is pretty useful.Overall, whichever your use it works well and puts out some good light.
