We painted a closet door with paint and on top of that a layer of glitter paint. These mirrors need a smooth surface (yea, did a whole door and they all came down on me within hours) So I got some strong extra double sided tape, added that to the adhesive side of the mirrors and they are staying up without issue.Also, had to take down a set; a hand held hair dryer and a paint scraper did the trick. Takes about 2 minutes per mirror square to remove all of the sections.Don't expect them to be perfect mirrors, these are a thin layer of reflective material with a plastic cover. Other than that, these are nice decorations.

Outside edge fell off while trying to lay the pieces out. Backing would not come off on some pieces.

I placed these on the wall behind my kitchen counters. The area looks enormous now because the mirrors reflect the under counter lights. Take your time and be very careful separating/loosening, but not removing, the decals from its frame. Just separate slightly and do not remove from the frame. Only remove the paper backing on the decals you want glued to the wall. After positioning the entire square on the wall, pull off and remove the frame that still has the glue area covered. The decals should remain on the wall. Difficult to explain. It's almost impossible to work around the switch/plug plate. I ordered a second set to finish the kitchen counter backsplash. Good luck!

Wanted a more aesthetic option than a security mirror to help me see folks approaching my open office door, and these are perfect—they look great, were easy to install, and are holding on great so far, especially for the price.Others have complained about installation for similar products, but I didn’t have any trouble. They come as square sheets with the design perforated to punch out, and a protective film across the mirror side; I just puta couple strips of tape from my desk in an X over that film so I didn’t accidentally punch out the pieces before I was ready, peeled the backing off only the pieces I wanted to stick, and stick the whole pieces to my door so I could use the border/frame to keep everything aligned and spaced nicely. Once I put them all up and pressed the sticky pieces in sufficiently, I peeled the tape to take off all the decorative film for each of the twelve squares instead of peeling film off all the individual pieces. The borders are also beautiful, so I’ve stored them in case I find another project for them.

At first I put them up as recommended. They looked ridiculous. It was just a bunch of random stickers on the wall. I was going to throw them all away. Then I decided to put the frame back around each square. It looks so much better this way. I peeled off the protective layer on the stickers but kept it on the surrounding frame. It gives it almost an antique look and keeps it from blending all together. It took a lot of work but I love the final product. Don't expect to ever move them. You'll only get one shot and then they loose their stick. Overall, I'd recommend them if you have a lot of time, patience and a laser level (an absolute must!).

Better than Expected! Once I received them I took some time to consider how I'd like to use them (shape & pattern) . Once I knew how I wanted to place them I easily peeled off the plastic covering from reflective surface & then simply took My time to peel off the backing & carefully turning to not touch the sticky surface until I placed them each on My wall. Twice or so I caught My angle offset & was able to remove, realign & restick.These are Just the right touch of simple elegance My living room wall needed (and they gave the illusion of opening up the space making it look bigger)Now I think I may get more for the hallway! I definitely Recommend!*

I bought this and they slipped off my wall the corners were chipped and I just wish I sent it back its in the trash now !!

So I’ve been looking to add some life to a mirror I have and this product did just that. Super happy with the results. Only thing I had a problem with is that it is really fragile and I had a few pieces break. Once I got the hang of it and finished it, it looked beautiful. So definitely worth it!
