GREAT piece of Art and Furniture
LOVE IT, not cheap but quality is great, super heavy and well built, 1st use is a bit tricky you must have 2 person stretching it to reach the consistent length, as it will naturally retract. shipping was good and well packed. note since it really is paper therefore you must use the 4 provided lovely leather looking seating pad.

It's been a month
Bought 2 of these as a solution for a NYC studio apartment. 1 to serve as a coffee table when the sleeper sofa was folded away, creating more of a living room space... the other was to be modular seating. Well, I have had these for over a month, and despite doing everything possible, they still instantly recoil and back to their original compressed state. I had one posing as a side table, opened to half circle... which was fairly successful for 2 weeks, but has since been slowly closing itself back up again. Save yourself the trouble. Completely useless

Works fine for me
You do really need to stretch this out, it takes considerable effort. But it works fine for me after doing so. I feel like it's a little overpriced, but the cost of shipping from China probably factors into that. And if you were to buy the more upscale version of this from a different company you would pay a lot more, so overall I'm satisfied enough with this purchase. Oh and regarding another review about "small concave dents" forming when you sit on it...the same thing happens to the much more expensive and more finely constructed version--it is made of paper after all. But those small dents on top do not compromise the structural integrity.

Excellent quality
I was apprehensive at first as it was a Chinese brand. But when I received the product, I was impressed by the quality. The paper bench is compact when closed, very sturdy when sit on, versatile for all areas of the house, and definitely a conversation piece.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!
Doesn't expand well and doesn't hold up well. It bent in and suffered small concave the very first time I sat on it. I weigh 220 and it was not expanded out very far (because it doesn't expand well) so it should have been at its strongest. DO NOT BUY!!!
