Solid entry level 8speed derailleur. Easy to install & adjust, smooth shifting.
This is a good solid entry level 8 speed rear derailer… Installs easy, it fit great… Smooth shifting did not feel cheap at all. It was easy to adjust, Very versatile …compatible with most mountain bike derailleur hangers.

pour réparer mon dérailleur tourney qui a mon avis est moin bon que l'altus mais j'ai du acheter une extension a cause j'avais stripper mes fillais dans le frame mais apres tout, tout est ok.

Nice part, good value, easy install.
Exact fit for my REI gravel bike 8 speed Shimano Altus Derailleur. There is no chrome on this one, but otherwise it is indistinguishable from the original. It says Shimano. I appreciated that the cage could be opened to allow the chain to be inserted without opening a link. It went on with only a very small adjustment for the small sprocket overtravel. There is no documentation, so if you're inexperienced with this repair be sure to take a picture or two of the original installation before beginning. You'll need a decent set of metric Allen wrenches. It's easiest to set up if you set the shifter to the 4th gear and then place the chain on the 4th sprocket before tightening the cable clamp on the Derailleur. For the price this is a fine solution for a casual use bike.
