Stylish and lightweight kettle
Stylish and lightweight kettle. Replaced a more expensive Dualit which had been disappointing because it dribbled. This Morphy Richards kettle pours perfectly. No dribbles or splashes. Excellent.

Lid does not 'auto flip' open
The lid does not flip all the way open when the button is pressed so you need two hands to fill it

Superb!
How can you enthuse about a kettle? Well you can this one! Truly the best I've ever owned! From its sleek and stylish looks to its ergonomic handle, it is so well balanced in the hand. But the pouring is sublime. It doesn't matter if it's one cup or full, the holes and the spout pour slow, drip free and perfectly every time.Just perfect!

Noisy Kettle
Not a bad kettle, looks good, but it is quite loud when boiling water.

Not The Quickest Boiler. Spring In The Lid Is Weak. Gap At The Top Of The Filter.
The media could not be loaded. I found the kettle to be quite a slow boiler for a 3,000 KW kettle boiling a full 1.7 litres of water in 4 min 25 secs & the minimum 2 cups at 1 min 42 secs. The power rating shows it can vary between 2,520 watts & 3,000 watts so it might not be operating at full power. It is however reasonably quiet. The interior is fully stainless steel accept for the inside lid & the removable water filter which doesn't fully cover the spout completely. The product pictures appear to show that the base is illuminated blue but it is just the colour of the plastic where only the power switch illuminates. The lid has quite a weak spring mechanism that doesn't open fully however it does provide an adequate seal when closed, no rattling or boiling water / steam escapes. But as you can see in the video when it comes to a boil at maximum capacity it does wobble quite a bit. As it is quite expensive at £39 i cannot justify the price over other cheaper 3KW kettles which are also stainless steel & boil quicker, such as the LOGIK Jug Kettle 1.7ltr / 3KW at £25 that can boil 1.7 litres of water in 4 mins.
