Im thinking bout putting one these air vents in me daughters bedroom how do i go bout cutting hole in wall to out side and how big do the hole need be

I used this vent where there was a hole already. Be prepared to knock out a hole slightly smaller than the vent and then you’ll need something external as well if you have a cavity wall. Mine is in a utility room and is for venting where I have a tumble dryer and washing machine. My old one fell off the wall so this was a replacement. The outer external cover is still there.
