Excellent product
This was recommended to me and it really does work, easy to apply and smell is ok, was getting bitten on a regular basis, started using this and not been bitten since, don't take my word for it.

Best bug repellant I know!
Having grown up in South Africa using Tabard products I was pleasantly suprised when I found I was able to buy this through amazon here too. I went on a visit to Rwanda and was concerned about being eaten by mosquitoes because usually I get bitten to death. I came back after two weeks and didn't have a single bite! My roommate actually got to the point that she started using my stick because her repellent didn't work. Perhaps it's a nostalgia thing but I actually quite like the smell of tabard producs but I know for other people it can be quite a strong stinging smell. It doesn't smell bad, just a bit chemically, kind of like the strong smell like a permanent marker. The stick is also not sticky! So just a few lines down each arm and leg and circle around each wrist and ankle is enough, perhaps a line down each side of the neck too. Don't have to rub anything in and have to wash your hands a million times from either having to apply it or from touching yourself accidentally where you've applied. Didn't notice any damage to any clothing or accessories I wore either which is usually something to take care of when wearing DEET products. All in all a great product that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a reliable repellent.

Exceptional Protection
Faintly scented but not too noticeable , easy to apply - just draw it on exposed areas and very portable for pockets, airline sized cabin travel. Not greasy or sticky. Probably the best repellant I’ve ever used - not a single bite in 4.5 months of wearing only shorts and Tee Shirts including a trip to Florida. Purchased and repurchased - always delivered promptly (not on Prime!) Only small gripe is the shipping costs.

Mind your clothing.
This worked to keep me from getting bitten, did not smell much.Only problem was it stained my white shorts yellow, took a long time soaking and washing to remove. Be aware.

Great protection
I'm convinced that Greek Mosie’s have a homing beacon fixed for pound shop insect repellent specials and feast on dainty English flesh in the summer months. However, we used to use Tabard in the bush in Africa. This is the next level, and it works. First time in my life I actually finished a Tabard stick. Usually, I lost it before it was finished. Must be getting old and losing that youthful exuberance

Blimey! It's tiny!
The photos are somewhat misleading - the product is a teeny tiny tube of green translucent gel. It does not smell offensive, but the pack is so small that you think it's only going to last for a week or so. I don't yet know if it works or not: for this price, it damned well better work! £4.95 for the product, £3.20 for shipping, makes £8.15 for a thumb-sized tube. This does not feel like good value: even if it works superbly, it's going to be all used up in no time at all. I'm very disappointed, because I have always relied on the Autan stick bug repellant, but alas they don't make it any more, and this was the only "stick" product I could find.
