I have found that i tend to see slightly better since i started to take this supplement but i was taking a different kind for around 30 days before stating this...i used to have quite bad sun sensitivity but it seems that is greatly improved i find i hardly reach for my sun glasses these days. I was having a hard time with the small printvwhich i always could read before i actually wear a magnifying necklace to beable to read smaller print since taking this supplement in the mornings i find i can now see the small print again but i also notice as i get tired my ability to read the small print kinda fades through the day... i really have noticed a difference since i been taking this almost 6 or 7 months. I have encouraged others to try it as well. BUT i didn't see a difference until the second month really and that was also after the month using a different type. For me the fact i feel like i am seeing better, i feel more secure and its seeming to work is all i need.

Never easy to make a judgement with vitamin pills, but the eye surgeon was not only pleased I was taking them, but Specsavers said there was a small improvement in my macular degeneration in a recent check up and I did not need new glasses

Hello how can you provide a sensible review. Until my next visit to the optician I have no way of measuring the benefits these capsules may be providing. I've now been taking the capsules for 30 days but I'm not aware of any changes to my vision but again don't quite know what to expect. I'd welcome any information a reader may be able to give.

I was interested in Michael Mosleys program featuring this product. This is now being tried and no doubt the value or not will be seen.

Wanted a replacement for the AREDS2 iCaps tablets for eye protection, which are currently unavailable. This one is not it, but has the requisite Lutein 10mg and Zeaxanthin 2mg per tablet as per the spec. Hence I shall give them a try. The product as delivered was brand new and sealed. Intelligent Formula, who sell this product, do provide an AREDS2 equivalent but I was not aware of it when I ordered this one, and anyway its a lot more expensive. If you take a multivitamin supplement you will probably have the minerals and vitamins in it that are not in this product, such as Zinc, Copper, etc., so Vision Defender plus a multivitamin tablet probably does as good a job. Hope so, anyway. Bought again and upped the review to 4 stars as these tablets plus multivitamin tablets seem as good as anything else.

Purchased this alongside two other products after doing research. I have had several surgeries on my eye and was wanting a product that would hopefully help with my eye health. I will take them for 3 months to see if there are any changes. Arrived quickly and reasonably priced.

Before I have been using MacuShield and have now tried MAC Macular Antioxidant for 180 days, my sight is far from what it used to be and when I got hold of a few MacuShield Original Formula, my sight has improved after two weeks use. In theory they should be equal, with the same amount of Meta-Zeaxanthin, Lutein, and Zeaxanthin but for me there is a big difference which one I use (need of reading glasses or not). I hope someone would sell MacuShield Original Formula in my region for a reasonable price.

These tablets have what is considered to be the most effective formula for macular protection and are a replacement for a different brand I have been buying with the same formula. I'm very happy with them.
