These seems like a very solid case. I like that it includes a front screen protector as well as back in one so that (a) I didn't have to do extra shopping finding the right size screen protector and (b) I didn't have to put on the clear laminate screen sticky protector (like my last phone) which was more effort and took multiple tries to get it on close to right (and even then maybe still had some slight bubbles. The top screen protector and back fit together very snugly. I find it somewhat hard to open up the case (separate top and bottom parts) once it's on but I find this more of a feature of good, well-made, protective cover vs. a drawback of the product, though it is a little inconvenient when trying to open the case to get to the phone itself (e.g. to change SIM or SD card). One thing I wondered about before buying is if the screen protector, which is pretty sturdy, would require me pressing harder on the phone touch screen but it's not bad. My fingers don't quite glide the same as on the super smooth S9 phone directly but I don't feel it's a lot of work to push extra hard (with the screen protector on) to make general touch, swipe, keyboard taps, etc. work. Also, the Galaxy S9 (not sure whether it was the stock Android software included with this unlocked phone or an upgrade I did after getting it) has Settings > Advanced Features > Touch sensitivity option (on/off toggle) with a feature description "Increase the touch sensitivity of the screen for use with screen protectors." I haven't needed to use it but nice to know it's there to not worry about that issue when considering this case. As you'd expect, this case has the hole cut-outs in the right places for all the key inputs/outputs and buttons of the Samsung Galaxy S9 phone (not the S9 Plus version) -- volume up/down, power, USB-C charger port, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. I like that the case differentiates the up/down volume buttons a little bit so you can distinguish them. I have my phone in the case all the time but IIRC the phone has a single extended button for the whole volume rocker (up and down) so IMO this is an enhancement over the phone. I like the port plugs on the bottom of the case for the USB-C charger and 3.5mm headphone jack. The "plugs" are attached to the case so they're not separate losable parts but they provide extra protection from dust, water, etc. when not in use (which is most of the time for me). I like that this option included a holster for wearing on a belt. One thing that's missing that I'd use occasionally but don't miss very often is a stand on the back of the case so that I could sit my phone on a table when watching a video. But that would add extra weight and bulk. I don't write reviews for all the products I buy, especially ones that are this in depth, but I wanted to share how happy I am with the product.

I just replaced my Galaxy S7 for the Galaxy S9 and instantly turned to Supacase's Unicorn Beetle! My Galaxy S7 stayed in its Unicorn Beetle for 2 years and was only removed to clean water that seeped through the cracks maybe a handful of times. I sold the S7 to my friend and removed the case and the phone was still in immaculate condition. Dust builds up around the openings but can easily be wiped away. Not even scuff mark's around the corners or anything! I dropped my S7 100,000 times and it never received as much as a scratch. I even got pushed into a pool once with it in my pocket and dropped it into the lake on other occasion and never had a single issue with it! My wife preferred the prettier cases and had her S7's screen replaced three times and the entire phone once, and spent the last 6 months with it cracked after not wanting to spend more money on it. Long story short, the Unicorn Beetle was the way to go! So far with the S9 I am getting the exact same quality! The case is great and perfectly protects my phone! I've dropped my phone a few times and not even the curved edges of the screen have been damaged. The back glass is still perfect, and after 2 months there isnt a scratch! The edges aren't raised above the sides of the screen which offers slightly less protection but with the case design a tempered glass screen protector fit underneath it and with touch sensitivity increased it functions perfectly! There are only a couple minor downsides to the case. Since the screen protector is plastic it scuffs up easily from just normal use, but after the first 2 weeks it's as bad as itll get and is only noticeable when viewed from certain angles or when the light hits it in specific ways and the phone is off. While on it looks great! It does tend to form some very small squares on the screen too that can be seen when using the phone from what seems like possibly moisture but I chalk it up as living in such a humid climate and something I'll have to deal with. It is also slightly bulkier than I'd prefer but a lot slimmer than previous models and still really nice looking! It is a little harder to remove than previous models once on the phone as well, but to me that just means it's better protected lol! Wireless charging also works but only when my phone is seated in a very specific position on a recently released Samsung Wireless Charging Pad. I haven't tried wireless charging with the towers that hold the phone upright though, they may work better. Regardless, I haven't managed to get reliable fast charging from the wireless charger even before adding the pop socket to the back. With the socket the chance or getting a wireless charge is likely close to 0%. *Note for Pop-Socket Users* because the back of the phone is beveled the entirety of most pop sockets wont be seated squarely and can cause them to easily come off. This was fixed very easily by applying a little super glue I stole from my wife that she used to put on fake nails underneath the socket on the left and right where it doesn't seat all the way. Since adding the glue I have not had a single issue! The positives greatly outweigh the negatives however, especially when compared to other cases and for far more than just the elite protection. For starters the finger print sensor is not hindered at all and works perfectly! The charging port cover is very durable as well and wont break like many other brands! Theres a lot of room around the headphone jack also so you'll never have an issue using headphones or an auxiliary cord! And just to boast about the protection again, when you decide to upgrade your resale value will still be very high because it protects from all scratches and scuffs to the actual phone! A simple wipe down and it looks better than factory restored phones straight from the dealers! So to sum things up, it's not great for the wireless charging pad I've tested, the screen will scuff a little but never onto the actual phone screen, and it may be a little bulkier than other cases but its overall protection makes it WELL WORTH IT! These phones are not cheap, so unless you've got a rock solid warranty or money to spend on numerous repairs then dont even second guess this case. I honestly didnt even opt into my phones warranty because I trust this case so much after its superb protection of my S7. I'd rival its protection against the Otterbox Defender Series any day of the week and for the price, I'd bet my life savings that this phone comes out on top. Its slimmer, lighter, more aesthetically appealing, offers, at the very least, comparable protection and the same protection for normal use people like myself (I'm not dropping my phone 100 feet, running it over, or going for a long swim. Max drop distance for me is probably 5ft or less), is a lot cheaper, and just as respected with A++ customer service! Dont think twice! BUY BUY BUY.

update 3/25/2020 i've now used in this case for a few months and it definitely protects the phone I've dropped it a few times without damage some from quite a distance there is two things that I do not like the screen is kind of thick so you have to push pretty hard sometimes to get the letters to register for texts and things and there's little covers that go over the plugs I hate those little covers they're a serious hassle to open and plug stuff in while you're doing things like driving I ended up for ripping mine off so I wouldn't have to deal with it aside from that it's most definitely worth the price but it's getting dropped to four stars. I bought this case about a week ago For my S9 that I got the day prior to Getting it. It looks really good on my phone and is the perfect size adds a little bit of bulk. I haven't dropped this phone. Or thrown it. But from the look of this case. I am willing to assume. That it would withstand impact well. I bought a similar price similar cases. In the past for my old phones and nose were super good. From what I can tell there's no reason to assume this one would not be. I liked it so much that I plan to buy another one. Within the next few minutes for my wife's phone I would have to recommend it For the price. It's substantially better than the ones in the cell phone store.

My case fits perfectly. I replaced another more expensive brand that I have used extensively in the past and was generally happy with. However, the Galaxy S9 model didn't have an integrated screen protector. This case has the integrated screen cover which I was told wasn't possible to make because it was a curved screen. SUPCASE managed to do it! Time will tell if this case holds up well over time. I will update the post if I have any issues or comments. So far nice job SUPCASE! 11/02/18 UPDATE I've had this case since March and it has performed well. Other than a few light scratches on the screen, no other problems. I've dropped it a few times and no issues. Nice job! 02/18/19 - UPDATE Well the belt clip finally broke as I was working around the house. I've contacted the warranty service to see if they will cover it under the 1-year warranty. I realize a lot of people don't use the belt clip, but I always do. I will update the post when I hear back on a resolution. The case is still going strong! 02/22/19 - UPDATE I heard back from Supcase the same day I contacted them and they agreed to send a replacement. Today I received my brand new belt clip in the mail in addition to a new case! They really stand behind their product. Customer service was quick, no hassle, and very customer friendly. Thank you Supcase! 05/11/19 UPDATE Replacement case still looks like new. Belt clip is great. Dropped my phone the other day as I was getting out of the car, thank goodness I had this case on it. No issues at all. Fantastic product for me. 07/21/19 UPDATE Case is still going strong. I got a few scuffs on the screen from regular use, but nothing major. The case and belt clip are really going strong. I continue to be impressed by the quality on this case. So far so good! 08-07-19 UPDATE I dropped my phone yesterday as I was getting out of my car. Smacked right on the asphalt. Phone is fine! Case cracked in the bottom left corner. It still works though! I thought I would reach out to customer service again to see if they would warranty my replacement case. Sadly, no they said the warranty was only from the original purchase date which was well over the one year. I don' fault them for that but it would have been nice to honor the replacement case which I've had for less than a year. I'm going to hold onto the case a bit longer just to really test it out. Let's see what happens! 11-25-19 UPDATE I finally kicked down and bought a new case. It arrived today and fits much tighter than the old, cracked case. I did get an extra few months out of the broken case so that's not bad. I attached a few photos for you. Considering this thing is like 1/3 the cost of the other guys I'd say it's still a great buy. Also - the holster is still going strong. Other brands the holster breaks fairly easily. This holster is pretty sturdy. I'll the post if there are any new issues. Thanks! 05-24-20 UPDATE It's been a while since I updated this, so thought I would take a moment to let you know everything is going great. No problems with the case or holster I bought 6 months ago. Screen is good too. I typically take the case off about once every two weeks just to clean it out. Overall still very happy! Go Supcase! 10-30-20 FINAL UPDATE Well I finally upgraded my phone so this is the last update here. I kept my S9 and still have the Supcase on it. I don't use it much anymore though! Love love mine! Okay so I have had otter box cases for all my phones and I have tried other cases as well and thought that otter box is the best there is out there. But as hesitant as I was, I ordered this case and I can't be more satisfied than this. To begin with, unlike otter box this case isn't bulky at all. It is still thin and light weight...very durable. The screen protector, unlike otter box built in screen protector, this one click on the phone really tight. The additional built in screen protector doesn't make it hard to use the touch screen (Otter box biggest flaw). The case itself is very hard, obviously I cannot tell you how many fall does it take for it to break my phone because I am not willing to try it but I am super happy with this case. Definitely try it! Update: this has been about a year since I have this case, I am truly in love with this! I dropped my phone so many times, down the stairs, on a concrete, etc and not a single crack or damage. This case is not bulky like the otter box cases, and no dust or dirt gets in the corners of the screen. The covering for the charger and all are still intact compared to when I had otter box, the charger covers broke within few months. My husband bought the same brand but the one without the screen protector, it was really good for awhile until my 3 yr old accidentally dropped it on concrete and the screen cracked. My 3 yr old is only 30 something inches so his hands were probably about 20 inches above ground and that's how high the phone was when it fell on the concrete and yet the screen cracked. Although the one without the screen protector are cheaper, spend a little more dollars and buy this one with the screen protector. Definitely worth your money! I am definitely going to be buying this brand from now on for all of my phones.

Easy install. No problem. The QR code for the YouTube installation which came in the packaging didn't work. I scanned it and it said the video was removed. Ok, whatever. I took my time. Studied the parts. Easy enough. Here's what I did: clean the Galaxy S9 front and back. No lint, no hair, etc. Then peel off the temporary protective film from the back of the Supcase Unicorn Beetle's screen protector. Leave the front protective film on until the end. Gently snap it on to your S9. Fits my Galaxy S9 perfectly. Then put the other slightly larger more rubbery cover over it. Take your time. Start on one end and work your way around. Then when it's on you can remove the front protective film. That's it. Feels great to hold. Not slippery at all but not too textured either. Really nice balance of smoothness and grip. I decided on the white after years of black cases. I'm happy with my decision. The white case has a nice gray accent border. Looks classy. Seems very well made and durable. If you're on the fence, go for it. I highly recommend. At this low price and high quality...you won't be disappointed. Oh and for the record I'm not being paid or compensated in any way. I'll make a super detailed YouTube video to show how to install it...but only if I get paid! Haha. Anyhow, I like the case and will definitely be buying cases from this company for any future phones.

I used - until about a week ago - a Kyocera Dura Max, a clamshell phone encased in rubber that you can drive a truck over with no discernible damage. This is because we were building a house and remodeling another. Total chaos and mess, and all the sleek smartphones seemed too thin and fragile to have in that life. Well, those projects are mostly done; so I bought 2 Samsung Galaxy s9 phones for myself and husband. The phones are as thin and fragile as I thought and I used mine very gingerly until this case arrived. First off, it's built like a tank and looks it. The phone is cocooned within a lot of hard rubber, just like the Dura Max, and has a hard, transparent screen over the front. But the screen does not interfere in any way with function. It's as sensitive and reactive as if it isn't there. The phone snaps in very neatly and is completely protected. Even the USB and headphone jack ports are protected from dust with snap-away covers. And while I don't plan to drive my truck over my new phone, I feel confident that I could drop it onto concrete or into a mud puddle with no problem. The case comes with a plastic back that enables me to clip the phone onto my belt. I found that a bit awkward - the front of the phone got all smeary when I removed the phone to answer it. So I would recommend carrying one of those eyeglass cleaner cloths that you get with new glasses. Much more convenient than carrying wet cloths or spray bottles. All in all, a wonderful product. OK. This is an edit. Silly me. You don't have to take the phone out of the belt-clip case. Just unclip the whole case off your belt. Duh. The other thing I forgot to mention is that all the phone's external features - on/off switch, camera lens, volume control, etc etc etc are easily accessible and work well. The case is no impediment. That's it. I'm done.

The product is great. It's made out of good quality plastics and is rigid adequately at the corners. It comes with a belt clip holster has a good overall protection. Though after installing it gives a sense of a bulkier phone. The screen protector works well and can be used with a pre-installed tempered glass.

Ich habe die Hülle 09/2018 gekauft, und seither im Extremeinsatz. Ich bin als absoluter Handykiller bereits ein gebranntest Kind und habe mir unmittelbar nach dem Kauf des Samsung S9 diese Hülle bestellt, und auf maximalen Schutz gehofft, und vorweg, ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Für mich ist, da ich häufig schwere handwerkliche Tätigkeiten durchführe, der hier gegebene 360 Grad Rundumschutz unbedingt notwendig. Das der Displayschutz aus Kunststoff auch bei normaler Nutzung zerkratzt sollte eigentlich jedem Menschen der normale Schulbildung genossen hat, bewusst sein - mir ist keine Kunststoff Displayschutzfolie bekannt die nicht nach kürzester Zeit und meinem Nutzungsprofil keine stark sichtbaren Kratzer zeigt. Ich habe also, nach ca. 5,5 Monaten die Plastikfolie rausgetrennt (da sie natürlich auch bei mir zerkratzt war) den Kleber vom vorderen Gehäuserahmen entfernt, und auf das Display ein H9 Panzerglas angebracht - BINGO! Nun kann ich den 360 grad Schutz mit jederzeit austauschbarem H9 Panzerglas genießen. Heute passierte leider der Extremfall: Das Telefon rutschte bei 50km/h aus der Handyhalterung am Motorrad (mein Fehler!) und ca. 10 Autos fuhren (mit Display nach unten!) drüber bevor ich das Telefon von der Fahrbahn retten konnte. Ich fürchtete das Schlimmste.......ABER: H9 Glas fürchterlichst zerstört - an der SUPCASE Hülle sieht man kaum etwas nach diesem Wahnsinnsmartyrium - und das Telefon weist nach Entfernung der Hülle und dem Panzerglas keinen Kratzer auf! Unglaublich! Könnte ich 500 Sterne geben würde ich das tun, ich hätte NIE mit einem solchen Ergebnis gerechnet. Ich bin mir sehr sicher, dass das Telefon ohne dem Supcase oder einer nicht 360 Grad Hülle ein Fall für den Elektroschrott gewesen wäre. Ich würde mir die Hülle trotz der kleinen Schwäche wegen der Kratzanfälligkeit des Displayschutzes jederzeit wieder kaufen, da sie mir mehrere Hundert Euro gespart hat - optimal wäre es aber, die Hülle eventuell etwas billiger optional ohne dem Kunststoffdisplayschutz für Benutzer eines H9 Panzerglases zu verkaufen. Da der vordere Gehäuserahmen bei der heutigen Aktion an einer Ecke gebrochen ist, werde ich mir das Case nochmal bestellen und mich weiterhin an der Unzerstörbarkeit meines S9 erfreuen.........

Moi qui cherchais une coque solide pour protéger mon S9, me voilà servi ! Livraison dans les temps, bon, le paquet était un peu aplati (merci La Poste) mais vu que c'est une coque de protection, après tout, j'ai pris ça pour un test. Une jolie boîte qui ressemble à celle du S9 d'ailleurs, avec la coque protégée par de la mousse. Un QR code mène directement à un tuto sur YouTube (pour iPhone, mais c'est déjà ça). Pour l'installation, c'est extrêmement simple, on clipse le dos de la coque sur le téléphone et on encastre le tout dans la face avant. Cette coque se divise en 2 blocs : - un support massif avec le clip (non amovible) qui se fixe à la ceinture - la protection proprement dite qui se fixe autour du téléphone et qui s'insère dans le support de ceinture. Non, il n'est pas possible de retirer le clip, mais vous pouvez utiliser uniquement la partie "coque" sans la partie "support", le téléphone est parfaitement protégé : coque autour et plastique sur l'écran et vous n'avez pas à gérer la pince de ceinture. La protection de la vitre est sensible, pas de différence notable dans l'utilisation, pas de reflets, rien à redire. Rapport qualité prix : c'est du costaud, et pour 25€ vous garantissez que votre téléphone à 1000€ sera bien à l'abri, donc, c'est rentable. Élégance : moi, j'aime bien le design "costaud", après, pour le raffinement, mieux vaut voir ailleurs. Appréciation : si vous cherchez une vraie coque bien solide qui résiste à tout (ou à peu près), c'est pour vous. Si vous cherchez plutôt de la légèreté et du raffinement, passez votre chemin.
