Smooth and a little sweet
This is wonderful balsamic: it's not quite syrupy but close, so it's a little thick, and it has a sweetness to it. Not too much: you know you're tasting vinegar but there is a hint of sweetness. Absolutely lovely. I have acid reflux and this doesn't bother me at all - and I use a lot of it! Salads of course, but I also drizzle it on grilled veggies. Try it! (I should mention: I'm Italian, and I appreciate the adherence to tradition, and craftsmanship that goes into making products our grandparents, and their grandparents used). Enjoy - I've ordered this many times. You can do without the special glass spout: it pours just fine right from the bottle.

A great vinegar.. price is getting a bit outa hand.
Balsamic is wonderful... commands a higher price since it takes so long to age... years....of barrel transfers ... and waiting... and waiting some more....years in fact... some 50 to 100 years. But, sadly, the prices for good Balsamic, just can't be justified by some folks. So they settle for some crappy imitation.Don't do it... even if a bit overpriced... this vinegar is just great. So thick... and so flavorful.Don't buy some blended crap... mixed with cheap vinegars. You'll waste your $$$.If you've never tried balsamic before.... this is a wonderful way to start.... you won't be disappointed.I splurge once in awhile.... and when I do.... two bottles of this Balsamic are what I treat myself to.You will not regret your purchase.PS... bottles are neat also.... keep the stopper.... filled with colored water and placed where light shines on them.... so pretty.Ya get a yummy for the tummy and eye candy... win win situation.

Worth every penny and more.
Delicious! Great quality, flavor and smoothness. I much prefer purchasing real balsamic vinegar versus the grocery store balsamic "glaze." Try over apples and pears just for starters.

Delicious on Everything
Yes, it's great on salads, even fruit salads, but I like to drizzle this lovely Balsamic vinegar on tuna steaks, pork loin, skirt steak and to accompany a cheese platter. It has both the taste and the texture (not too thin, not too syrupy) that I want at a price I can afford. And I love that it comes in two-packs rather than one large bottle. And speaking of the bottle, this one has a great, easy pour design--no drips! Recommended!

Olive oil and balsamic vinegar make a great keto salad dressing.
The grocery store keto salad dressing made with only avocado oil is great, and for a small amount it's about $8 these days. I still buy that for special occasions, but most of the time I drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the top of the greens, and that's all I need. This is a wonderful balsamic vinegar.

Due Vittorie Oro Gold Balsamic Vinegar
I recently tried Due Vittorie Oro Gold Balsamic Vinegar, and I’m quite impressed with it. This barrel-aged Modena balsamic vinegar brings a level of quality that stands out in my kitchen. The first thing I noticed was the rich, dark color and the syrupy consistency, which is a hallmark of a good balsamic. The taste is fantastic, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. It has a deep, complex flavor with hints of fig and cherry, and a smooth, velvety finish that lingers on the palate. It’s not the best balsamic vinegar I’ve ever had, but it’s fairly high quality and works well for a variety of uses.I’ve used it in salad dressings, drizzled over fresh berries, and even as a finishing touch on grilled meats. It adds a delightful tang and enhances the flavors of whatever dish I pair it with. The barrel aging process really shines through, giving it a nuanced depth that you don’t find in cheaper vinegars.Overall, Due Vittorie Oro Gold is a solid choice if you’re looking for a high-quality balsamic vinegar that won’t break the bank. It may not be the absolute top-tier, but it’s a fantastic addition to any pantry and brings a touch of elegance to everyday meals. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to elevate their culinary creations.

Incredible Balsamic for price
I purchased this after watching a video on types of balsamic and what constitutes the difference between "real balsamic" and "vinegar based balsamic". Turns out real balsamic consists of a single ingredient: grape must that's been aged a minimum of 12 years. This, while not being 100% grape must, contains only 2 ingredients: grape must and wine vinegar with grape must being the top most ingredient and having been aged to some degree. How long? I couldn't find that detail in the listing. Regardless, this is a far cry away from what you'd find in a normal grocery store where the top ingredient is typically vinegar with only a small percentage being grape must leading a very astringent, vinegar taste rather than a complex sweet taste that you see here. While I couldn't find an actual percentage score on the bottle, I can say with certainty that this is far and away the best balsamic I've ever personally tasted. It is not $120 a bottle so allows you to experiment a bit with the flavors without feeling the need to preserve every single drop while still being tasty enough to want to highlight it's unique flavors. If you've never had "real balsamic" and don't want to drop $120 bucks... this is a great option imo. Probably me new go-to for balsamic

Favorite Balsamic
We love to dunk sourdough bread or Artesian bread in olive oil, balsamic and &roasted minced garlic. This has become my go to balsamic vinegar. It has a hint of sweetness that I have not found in any other brand. It is a little more on the price than other brands but we'll worth it!! I have had guests for dinner that loved it so much I ordered them a bottle and gave it as a gift on a special occasion or house warming. They come in a two pack and the bottles are very pretty so that's a plus :) If you enjoy Balsamic for the special flavor for dipping not just for salads I would recommend you give this one a try. It is also amazing on garden fresh tomatoes with a little garlic salt & olive oil 😀
