Bought this for a tandem double garage - freezing recently when trying to deep clean and organise the place etc. Was worried about CO emissions and accidentally becoming a Darwin stat. So, invested in a small meter which was about £38. This with TWO other CO alarms (one at each end) should be fine. Initially ran the heater with the door cracked open 8 inches to allow for the recommended air supply. It was fine and heated the whole garage up by ten degrees or so in 15 mins. Tried it on Diesel and Paraffin which was seamless and I could not detect much difference in fuel. Obvs, its much more effective with the door closed but much more likely to produce CO (hence my precautions). Running it with the door closed makes it toasty and generates and on/off indication of 10 ppm on the meter. This amount of CO the max exposure is about 8 hrs but still not something I would be prepared to breathe as this toxin is cumulative and nasty. So... its a great wee heater, well made, dead easy to use and surprisingly sparing on fuel use. I suspect, to keep it as clean burning as I have described, will need their recommended maintenance and fresh air intake requirements. I am happy with it but intend to use in semi-enclosed space only with the precautions I have mentioned. Hope this helps you if you have similar concerns.

Packs a punch
Great little heater. Not bad on fuel. So far used kerosene and red diesel in it. Bit noisy but less so on red than on the kerosene.

ok
does what it says on the tin, only problem is with getting kerosene as they do not seem to be any places which sell small amounts and paraffin is so expensive.
