Excellent Value Needles for Hobbyist
As someone who likes to play around with needle size for different projects, this set of circulars has been perfect. My experience shopping at chain crafting stores has always ended with me making another trip back to grab the next size up/down of needles, adding another $5-$10 to my projects. Buying a set like this solves this issue, and I'm very happy with this purchase. Before ordering, I was worried that the low price might be reflected in quality (i.e. attachment point strength, bamboo integrity), but after using the size 9's for a blanket project, I'm confident the plastic-bamboo attachment is sturdy enough to last quite a while. Additionally, the bamboo seems very standard for wooden needle quality and I have not seen/felt any splinters/cracks. As I mentioned above, having a set of US 0's to 15's (2mm-10mm) really makes picking out yarn for experimental projects a lot more fun - no need to worry if you have the right size needles as long as they fall into that range. And if you're the type that gauges seriously, having the sizes above and below what the pattern/yarn calls for is very convenient as well as cost-effective. The "extras": The carrying case is a thin, semi-opaque white zip-lock bag and does the job of holding the needles without any extra fluff. It's not oversized, which I like, but it's not too tight to where I couldn't throw a few crochet hooks in it if I wanted to. There is an extra little bag of stitch markers, a cloth tape measure, some yarn needles, scissors, and a crochet hook. They are in their own resealable baggie, which is great because it keeps them from getting tangled up in the knitting needles. The tape measure goes up to 60 in. The conclusion: I would definitely recommend this product based on the value and quality of the knitting needles. The extras are nice, but most people that knit have the majority of them anyway. If you're brand new to knitting, this is a great product to start with because of it's low price point and variety of needles.

I no longer use any other kind
Yes, these are cheap. Yes, they can break. Yes, there IS an odor when you first open the bag, and you might have to let them air outside overnight. With all of that said, I still love these things, and no long use any other needles, and I knit OFTEN. What's wonderful about them is that they're cheap enough that you can have several sets, so if you want to start several projects, you'll always have the right needles. And if you want to make some huge circular thing, you'll have enough needles to go all the way around your project. And if you happen to lean on one and break it, oh well, you have others. The bamboo offers just enough friction that you don't need any caps to put on your needle points. After a few rows, they get nicely polished from your wool. If you want the points to be a little sharper, just get out your nail file, and give it a little touch-up. After several year, unfortunately, the tubing will tend to become hard. But again, they're really cheap! I would much rather replace these every few years than be devastated because I broke an expensive Addi Turbo, or something. I like to knit in lots of sizes, so it's great to always have the right size available. To store these, I got a bunch of half-size padded mailers, and cut off the flaps. I wrote the sizes on each envelope, with US, UK, and mm sizes, and I store these in an Ikea file box. Easy to find what I want.

Great for new knitters
This is a great set at a great pricepoint for a new knitter who wants to knit in the round but doesnโt want to spend a ton of money. That being said, these will not last forever. They may not even last for your entire project. I would avoid these if you are an especially tight knitter. My first project on these (a 2T sweater), the needle separated from the cable halfway through the body. Since then, I โbabyโ these a bit more by making sure there isnโt stress on the point the cable and needle attach. I canโt speak for the durability of the smaller needles with this set as I typically use 4-6mm for my projects. I do like that the cable is really flexible, especially for working magic loop. I have a set of expensive needles and the cable is really rigid, which makes it hard when casting on smaller projects. Anyways, I would still recommend these, however, you get what you pay for.

Everything a beginner knitter needs
I chose these because I"m always dropping things and thought if the needles are connected that would reduce drops. I'm such a newbie to knitting I didn't realize that these are "In the round" to make large afghans/blankets and even socks. Win Win! It would be nice though if these kits that contain various accessories to include a list with names and description of what they are. The needles themselves are wooden with plastic connecting cords. The wood doesn't have a smooth finish but it was explained that it is to help the yarn stay on the needle. There have been a couple of times where the yarn actually gets caught and almost snagged but I'm so slow the yarn isn't damaged. I'm not a fan of aluminum or other metal objects is another reason I chose these. IF there are plastic needles I'd have purchased those. The only con is not all the needles are clearly marked and the markings that are on there will fade away in time -maybe I'll make a legend that matches the color cord with the needle size. The entire kit comes in a cute white frosted pencil bag with a ziplock type closure. Enough room for everything and very portable. For a beginner totally unsure of whether they'll take to knitting this is a great buy for the price (under $10 at time of purchase) You'll get everything you need without breaking the bank if you decide knitting isn't for you. But I've had so much fun and have been practicing since these arrived. Partly due to the colorful plastic cords. Based on the reviews and stars I'd also recommend purchasing from this vendor.

Perfect for Beginners
This is the PERFECT set to purchase if you are new to knitting and looking to build your collection. Comparatively, you can get this same set of 18 needles PLUS an accessory bag for the same price you would pay for a single pair of needles at a craft store. It's an absolute deal if you're looking to get a bunch of different sizes and are building a collection. The sizes are printed on the needles (mm) and the cords come in different colors to easily differentiate them. I've done about 3 projects with the larger needles so far and have found them easy to use. Additionally, I've come to realize how much EASIER it is to knit using these bamboo needles compared to my old metal ones. It allows the yarn to slide off a lot easier. The only other aspects worth mentioning is all of the cords are the same length (good for making scarves). So if you're looking to make a smaller headband or a larger blanket, you'll have to finagle the length around the cord a bit. Additionally, the smaller needle sizes seem a bit fragile (although I admittedly have not used them yet in a project). Highly recommend this product, especially for beginning knitters!

Good For the price
I have attempted to use many circular needles as a beginner. The only ones i found usable were Clover brand. and while they are wonderful i believe i payed $15 a pair. I was looking into a full set of circular needles and wasn't quite ready to take that $50+ plunge. I had previously ordered a similar set of Tunisian Hooks and liked them well enough. i wanted to buy two sets so i could do full circular. when i received them it was nothing fancy, but they did come in a zipper bag i am still using as well as stitch markers and things. all the hooks were rubber banded together. non were tangled. the cords are still bent in a u shape from shipping but i havent found an issue. After i received them i peaked at the reviews and found that a few people had trouble with the cords coming off. As a precaution i took a lighter and heated the ends where they connect to the needle. that seemed to not only redistribute the glue but also shrink the plastic slightly and i havent had any issues after about a month of constant use ( if you do this yourself, beware that the plastic melts very quickly and i left cold water running to cool it when it started to get too hot). I have been using a single set of needles and using the magic circle method on mittens. while i think my clover ones are still better, these performed wonderfully. i had very little pulling at seams and don't foresee an issue for beginners.

UNUSABLE!!
I needed some extra small circulars and I like bamboo so I disregarded the low reviews... but these were awful! The plastic of the cable is very soft so the slightest pressure causes them to bend and kink at end of the needles. The softness plus the thickness (the cable has about the same diameter as the needles) also makes the yarn very hard to slide along the cable - and I was using a silky bamboo yarn. These are a disaster and I'm returning them.
