This item is defective. It loosens up and you have to tighten screws frequently. The boards bow even with my 30lbs daughter when max weight is supposed to be 250. Customer service is a joke and will not issue a refund for an item that arrived in subpar condition and then after 6 weeks of use has started to quite literally fall apart. Literally the worst item I have ever purchased. Horrible quality and customer service. Save your energy and avoid this product at all costs. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Good quality and easy to assemble! My only complaint would be the squeakiness when moving around/ getting up and down.

this took over 2 months to arrive and when it finally did, It isn't at all a wooden floor bed but a plastic fence. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Very flimsy. There’s a lot of dry running paint and some parts aren’t fully painted. There aren’t enough slats. The slats are made of cut up ply wood which is not stable enough and will sink in.

I wanted to try this for my 5-months old. Although I just got this about one month ago, they only had a full-sized option at that time. I saw a similar one at Walmart which had a delivery fee so I decided to go with this one. I had simulated what would happen with this bed in my brain so much because this would be a huge change from a crib so here are the things you may be curious about! 1. You need a bunkie board and a mattress. Your total cost will be a lot more than just this bed. I couldn’t find a mattress that was not so high so I got a 9 inch one and that makes the rails almost useless. I will probably need to put some protections around the bed once the baby starts crawling. The slates are not very sturdy so you definitely need a bunkie board. It still is squeaky. 2. The full size mattress is 54X75 and this bed is 57 X 79.5. So you can see in the picture that with the mattress in, it makes a 2-inch gap in the two sides which might be needed if I would use a blanket. But currently, with an infant, I only want a fitted sheet so I will need to fill the gaps in once my baby starts crawling. 3. The smell of whatever was super strong when I opened the box and it could give a headache. I left a fan on more than one day to get rid of the smell but it still has some odor. 4. Full size is huge. I would get a twin size if I had that option when I bought it. Even with these shortcomings, I really like the transition and my baby loves the bed too. Here are the things that you would likely see. 1. It is very easy to sleep with the baby. (Even the whole family can sleep in together) It is also easy to sneak out once the baby falls asleep, which was the first reason I bought this. 2. It is a good play area too! You don’t need to put a blanket on the floor for tummy time. You can just do it on the bed, lying down with the baby. 3. My baby didn’t want to stay in her crib because she didn’t want to be by herself when she was awake. Now she doesn’t hate the bed because she doesn’t think that as a bed. 4. I am planning to use the mattress for a regular bed once my baby grows up! Hope this review helps!! ————- Updates I switched the mattress with the thinner one (4 inches) so I had to give up a spring mattress. Now I can feel the bars in the bunkey board and it still squeaks. I think it would be better to remove all the slates and put the mattress on the floor if you live in a house you don’t use shoes. But a thin mattress would make sense for the baby to be able to crawl out by herself and be safe within the rails.
