Battery doesn't last very long

I haven’t used this yet for two reasons. Firstly, and most annoyingly it came with a US plug on it, so I will need an adaptor to use it. There was no indication that this would be the case before it arrived and no explanation even though my account is registered to a U.K. address. My other reason is that it takes 22hours for a full charge which seems excessive to me. I probably should have returned it, but I need a new toothbrush! And the reviews for this one are excellent.

I should have been suspicious, when I kept reading brilliant reviews about one of the cheapest electric toothbrushes in their range, just goes to show, always take notice of your Gut feeling. I have returned the item, and am annoyed to have wasted so much time on this terrible item. I suppose I will have to spend a lot of money to get the best electric toothbrush and I'm almost £90 down while I wait for the refund.

I NEVER knew what the deal with electric toothbrushes were. I always thought they were just an expensive gimmick. I grew up the good old fashioned manual way of brushing my teeth and thought that was enough. I recently switched dentists and my new one did a periodontal exam (if your dentists don’t do this, folks, find another one) and after finding a lot of tartar in the pockets of my gum, one of the recommendations I had was to switch to an electric toothbrush. At first, I thought they were pulling my leg, but after talking with her a little bit, she recommended specifically the Oral B kind. She said the Phillips Sonicare is good too, but the circular motion of the Oral B mimics the tools they use at the dentistry, so I went with this one. I’m already a few uses in and I’m blown away at the results. My teeth feel remarkably CLEANER. Like, as though I was able to get down to every nook and cranny in one seamless application. The best part is that I don’t feel as inclined to apply a whole lot of pressure into the brushing, the brush itself does all the work! The only thing though is that, like shave blades, the branded brush replacements are ridiculously expensive. After doing some research, I’m seeing that there isn’t a huge difference between the off-brand cheaper replacement brushes and the official ones. Obviously, there’s some trial and error needed based off what’s out there, but I probably won’t shell out for the replacement heads. Apart from that, great product, though!

Good value for two toothbrushes. They work like an electric toothbrush should. The new style brush head is pretty gentle and effective, but it takes a variety of brush heads intended gor ghe brand, except the wider st yhe bottom style. I prefer the styles of brudh heads that git this model as they are less expensive and provides a variety of choice of brush options. This model has multiple speeds and the pressure sensor works really well. The handle is thick, round, and without a grip. It makes for easier and fast clean up, but is difficult for small or arthritic handles to hold. The power levels are good and match their other models. It charges quickly, is durable, and has a sleek appearance. So far, it is very durable.

Game changer in dental hygiene. We got extra heads so the whole family shared but switched to our brush head and we all have nice and clean teeth. 2 kids, 2 adults and it works for.
