Solid Emergency Radio, Great for Preparedness and Backup Power
Great option if you want a reliable emergency radio for camping or prepping. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and covers all the basics you’d want in a backup device. The multiple power options are a big plus, solar, hand crank, and battery, so you’re not stuck if one runs out. The radio reception is decent and the NOAA feature is great for staying updated in emergencies. The built-in flashlight and SOS alarm add extra functionality, and the USB charging is a nice bonus if you need to top off a phone in a pinch. Overall, solid and dependable. If you want an affordable all-in-one emergency radio, this is a great pick to have on hand.

Satisfied
This is a must buy. It’s small but works good. Station comes in clear. Charges quick in plug or hand cranking. Happy purchase and can’t beat the price.

Excellent quality and features at the price!
It is a gamble when ordering these types of items online blindly, I have had a few various brand emergency radios in the past and some that were double this one's price and failed to meet my expectations. My expectation is that the device at is able to provide it's own source of power to operate the flashlight for a reasonable amount of time and provide a clear audible emergency weather broadcast. Anything more than that is wonderful to me. This device has a bright light, the radio and emergency weather broadcast functions well with great reception from the antenna indoors, it only takes a minute of charging using hand crank to provide over an hour of light and about 15 minutes of simultaneous radio and light which is nice. The solar charging seems sufficient for emergencies, I had it sit on a window ledge for about 6 hours of clear sun and it provided enough charge to power the device for about 30 minutes of continuous light and radio. When fully charged using USB it was capable of charging my Galaxy Note 9 phone around 15% before unable to charge anymore. The device still had enough charge remaining to run continuous light and radio for another 30 minutes, it probably just does not provide enough juice to maintain the USB charge on the phone after a certain % of battery is used. I fully charged the radio using USB from dead to fully charged in about 1.5 hours. I was able to charge a dead 0% battery Galaxy S4 up to 38% before no longer charging further, and again the radio still had charge left to run continuous light and radio for about half an hour. The hand crank and solar panel does not seem to charge other devices externally via USB, it only functions to charge the internal battery. It is a handy battery pack for emergencies, packaging says 1200mah and that seems about right. I plan to buy several more of these to toss into prep kits for car and home. Very happy with this radio for the price you cannot beat it!

Great emergency lighting/radio/device charging system
I loved the first one I purchased so much I decided to get a second. I have fully tested and used all parts of this device. 1. The crank is a bit tight, which should be expected 2. The light is bright 3. The radio AND NOAA band works well 4. Charges from hand crank well 5. Charges from USB well 6. Charges from solar okay 7. Charges older devices well 8. NOT WATERPROOF - the manual says it's not and says not to submerge it in water so don't do it 9. Compact so it fits well in my bugout bag 30 mins solar charge from dead battery = 2+ hrs flashlight (dims a bit after 15 mins and then a little more after about an hour), 2+ hrs radio, no device charging 1 min hand crank charge from dead battery = same as 30 mins solar charge The device charging mechanism is a bit weak. Tried charging after cranking for 30 seconds, 1 minute and 5 minutes. Would not charge a Motorola Droid Turbo, a LG G3 tablet or a HTC One M8. It starts charging these devices, but very quickly stops charging. I think the power draw of these newer devices is just too much for the circuitry in the charger. Every non-smartphone I charged with this charged just fine. If you need a compact, mobile solar charger to charge a newer device I recommend this: Solar Charger, Nekteck 10400mAh Dual USB Port Solar Portable Charger Backup Power Pack for iPhone 6 plus 5S 5C 5 4S 4, iPods, Samsung Galaxy S6 S5 S4 S3 Note 4 3 2, Android Smart Phones, Windows phone . Everything else performs as expected. Highly recommended utility item! Note: I base my reviews on a) the functionality of all parts of the product based on its manufacturer intended use [not what I want or expect it to be able to do], and b) the usefulness of the product for my intended use [which I tend to base off the manufacturer intended use].

Great product. Charges iPhone 6s
I ordered one but the USPS lost it. Thankfully my sister actually bought one for me without my knowledge for Christmas. She knew I wanted one of these and it is the best seller on Amazon, so she easily found the one I wanted :) She gave it to me early since she had to go out of town. I immediately put this to the test. I let the battery drain with the radio and lights on until it died then I measured how long I had to crank to get x amount of light time or radio time. Light: I cranked for 15 seconds at a rate of 1 rotation per second and i was able to power the LED for 8 minutes. Radio: cranked at 1 rotation per second for 15 seconds and got 1 minute of radio. Cellphone charging: I turned off my phone at 8% capacity. I cranked for 60 seconds at 60rpm to charge the radio battery then I plugged it into my iPhone 6s. I got the phone to 9% power after waiting a few minutes of letting it charge. I know it doesn't sound like a good phone charging option because it is not, but it does work. And in emergency situations all that matters is having something that works it doesn't have to be amazing. You can power the light, radio, and charge your phone at the same time if you keep cranking. If you really needed to make an emergency call on your dead cellphone this thing will power it with the hand crank alone. You don't need to charge the battery first inside the radio. Even if you have to crank it for 10 minutes straight to get 5-10% of a phone charge then this thing is already a lifesaver since there is no other way to charge your phone in the wild. If you want a better hand crank generator then you need to get a bigger and more costly one. You can't beat this price and size. Side note: when charging phones it is best to turn off Wireless and Bluetooth radios on your phone. It also helps to completely turn off your phone while charging in emergency situations. This will help it charge faster by using less energy. The LED is pretty bright, it won't help you see too far down a path, but it will help you watch your step while walking . The best part is the LEDs use hardly any energy so a few cranks will power it for minutes. The Radio reception is great, the tuning is sensitive, but not impossible to use. Volume is easily adjusted and is plenty loud for a group of people to hear. I found all my local stations with ease. I like how it can also tune to the weather broadcast. Awesome product for my 72 hour kit!

Good quality, works well.
Love this. It has so many handy features in a small size. Good strong flashlight. I have not tried anything else yet but I do like that it has a crank to charge it. The sun is not always out when you need it. Seems to be very good quality and could have many uses all year long. I keep it sitting on the window sill to soak up the Sunshine every day.

Great for emergencies
I got this as an emergency back up battery for my phone, as well as being a NOAA radio and flashlight was a bonus. I wanted to get something that I could charge without power. This has the option of solar charging, and a must in survival scenarios, a hand crank. While it is true that the Solar charger is slow and the hand crank is slower, they will get you through. You can crank enough to get enough power to get out a text or a call. The hand crank can power the light and the radio better than it can charge the phone, but it still works. The hand crank is easy to turn and feels sturdy enough to crank without fear of breaking it off. The radio has NOAA as well as FM and AM. It has an antenna and works pretty well. Light is nice and bright. Hopefully you’ll never be in a scenario of prolonged power outage, but for the price the peace of mind is well worth it for me.

Vale a pena.
