Would rather have paid a bit more for something sturdier. You will need to buy some plywood to put over the rails to support the mattress, and to be able to tuck in the sheets & blankets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great daybed for guest room *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2013* I love this bed. It was very easy to put together and has a classy/elegant feel to it. I put this in our guest room/office and threw some red sheets on it with a black comforter, lined the red pillows against the back and voila-an expensive look on an inexpensive budget. My husband is 5"10 and he can lay comfortable on it as well. My advice-make sure you get a thick mattress-I have a 10" foam mattress and for extra firmness my husband cut some wood board and lay it on the frame so the mattress wouldn't sink through when a heavier person lays down. I also wouldn't even bother spending $80 on those daybed sets.
