Very pleased!
I love my Puckipuppy Labrador! This bike is perfect for what I was wanting. I am 5’11” and 185lbs, and the riding position couldn’t be better. Assembly was not difficult but I think the instructions could have been more clear about orientation of the handlebars and which bolts mount the kickstand. (It’s the longer ones) It’s built like a tank and has absorbed my few spills on challenging trails like a champ. Unfortunately, at 75 pounds, the weight is like a tank as well, so off-road don’t expect to be able to get up every incline that has loose rocks and/or bulging roots without dismounting. The weight also makes it difficult to maneuver in tight situations, and it can tend to try to get away from you on steep off-road downhills with loose rocks. For comparison, a friend bought a similar bike with the same power that is 65 pounds. I still like my puppy better for several reasons: the comfortable seat, the display, the tires, the rearview mirrors (even though I had to make several modifications to prevent them from shaking so much you couldn’t see in them, but his had none at all), the overall design and look, and most importantly the availability of replacement parts and an accessible responsive customer service team. I was very disappointed in the headlight for the first few weeks because it was not as bright as I wanted and I couldn’t get it to shine straight in front of the bike at the right downward angle. Mounted correctly, it was shining way up and to the right. I even searched extensively for an aftermarket one, but I could not find any that would fit the bike’s wiring The puppy customer service team could not provide any recommendations either. Finally, I kept making adjustments until I realized I could bend and rotate it to where it looks warped on the bike, but it is shining straight and at the correct angle. I would like it to be brighter, like my friend’s headlight, but it is now adequate. At first I was disappointed in the tail light, because it is not hardwired into the electronics and you have to charge it separately with a USB2 adapter. But now that I purchased a rear rack and tail pack, I am glad that it is flexible so I could mount it at the back of the rack instead of around the seat post where it is intended. My bag would’ve completely blocked it. I have only had one real issue with the bike, which I have owned and been riding for several months. That issue is that my rear brake lever recently became much softer, where when you squeezed it, it would almost be touching the grip. The owners manual claims there is a way to make an adjustment on the handlebar assembly to tighten the cable, but I was not able to figure out how to do this. It is not your typical two nut assembly that is used on dirt bikes and other bicycles. My son who is a mechanical engineer could not figure it out. My other friend who has been working on motorcycles for the past 20 years could not figure it out. I reached out to customer support, providing the owners manual instructions and pictures, but they were not able to give me any advice. They did completely take care of the problem for me, however. They told me to take it to a local bike shop, have them make the adjustment, and they would reimburse me for the cost. I did that, and their tech found a tiny little recessed bolt in the assembly that you can tighten and loosen to make the adjustment. Puppy gave me an instant credit as soon as I emailed them the invoice. The tech also adjusted the Derailleur to perfection, which was great since it was quite out of whack as delivered. With all these complaints I have made, why the 5 stars? The bike is just that good, provides so much value at this price point, and is more fun than I could have imagined. I have been able to resolve every issue to where I am very pleased. Although their support team is not knowledgeable about the bike, they have the authority to take care of issues to the customers satisfaction.

First time e-bike purchase
Bought 2 of these for my wife and I to use. So far we have been very happy with them. They were not difficult to assemble and the free bike rack when you buy two together is very sturdy. So far, we have ridden them about 30 miles and have enjoyed them very much. Looking forward to taking them on camping trips. Was pleasantly surprised to get a call from customer service about two weeks after purchasing them. Just checking to see if I was satisfied was not expecting that.

Bad A$$ Bike and is def worth the purchase!!!
Best purchase I've ever had! I moved to Gulf Hills, MS next to Capones old house for bootlegging and the neighbor loved the bike so much they gave me a Hills Angel bumper sticker for it.Literally have not had any issues with the bike. After 960 miles on the odometer, I have had to replace the back tire, but to be fair, the back wheel tread was practically gone from me skinning out sooo hard for sooo many times! #can'tstopwon'tstopThis bike has a full suspension and hydraulics in the middle so its more offroad then the others and well work the price!!!

Great bikes esp
We purchased 2 Puckipuppy Labrador bikes and we love them. They are so fun to ride, and are built very well. When we bought 2 bikes they came with all the advertised accessories and even a bonus 2 bike hitch rack carrier that holds them very securely!Overall we are very happy with our bikes and love riding them for the fun and exercise they give us. Also, the company is very helpful and responsive when support is needed!

Adds dimension to on and off road cycling
I never thought i would ever purchase eBike, but never say never. You see, I used to bike an avid cyclist on and off road (Kestrel, Trek, etc) but as life, family and career developed, biking gradually moved to the back burner. That is until our niece and her daughter brought over their eBikes. I was reluctant to test drive because i just didnt like the idea of an electric bike but at the same time, i didnt want to spoil her excitement. On first ride, something within me sparked and the fond memories and joy of and cycling was re-ignited. Not really wanting to fork up the cash of the expense of an eBike, coupled with wife likely opposion, eBike was not an option; but i, being the man in this relationship and former former US Army Infantry Officer, took the initiative and went with my gut instinct and purchased two Puckipuppy Labradors without consulting or collaborating with the commander (my wife). Wouldnt you know it, "BAM," she loved the eBike. The bikes were easy to put together with assembly taking appx 30 minutes. Fine adjustments were performed later after initial ride. My bike worked flawlessly out of the box, however, her bike did come with a glitch. When bike was turned on, an error message popped up: "Brake sensor error."Contacted Amazon as well as Puckipuppy (PP) via phone to troubleshoot issue. It was determined that sensor needed replacing. PP offered to send replacement part plus a refund of $110. The refund went through and PP sent sensor along with the whole brake system consisting brake lever, hydraulic cable and caliper, among other things. The parts arrived in a timely manner and only the sensor was replaced and it certainly rectified the issue. Cudos to PP for friendly, technically accurate and efficient customer service. Given bike has as i recall, a 3yr warranty, i am confident that if any issues develop, PP will again effectively facilitate a remedy. The bikes are awesome, 50-80miles w pedal assist, comfy seat, hydraulic disc brakes, lights, etc. Speed limited to 20mph but it can be programmed to remove 20mph limit, and bump it up to +30mph. Great purchase from Amazon and great tech support from Puckipuppy. Even though this eBike is heavy relative to my carbon bikes, i was definitely not gonna spend $6k-9k for the higher end models. This puppy met the parameters for power, acceleration, comfort and braking ability; safe and fun for neighborhood rides to the park, hill climbing, running errands, etc. Highly recommend folks!!
