I had no idea what to expect. Was surprised and impressed by the quality make, looks, booklet (although to small for one with aged vision even with glasses). I am a music teacher, play flute guitar and piano and am familiar with blowing techniques and covering the holes completely. Nothing done well is easy but you sure can get a nice tone out of this little thing. Fun. Keep practicing :-) Well worth the $.

I've wanted to pick up a new instrument for a while and after reading so many reviews was hopeful this would be my next one. Everything in the packaging came in good condition and the hand and ocarina look great. The booklet had easy to follow pictures for playing songs and it came with everything you would need as a beginner. Unfortunately I must have received an ocarina that was not properly tuned. The lower notes sound great and I can produce a good sound, but the higher notes, less fingers, were more shrill and whistling when I tried to play them. I made sure I wasn't making a user error by checking I had the few holes covered fully covered and holding it properly and it was still producing a child blowing into a recorder kind of sound. I'm honestly heartbroken I can't play it, but decided to keep it as decoration. Hopefully I'll have better luck with a different ocarina and maker.Update: The vendors reached out to me after reading my review and offered a refund to fix the issue seeing as I wasn't going to be playing it. I thought it was amazing that they contacting me without my prompting to not only fix the issue, but to ask for feedback to improve the product! Although mine will be decorative, it was not a financial loss, 3 stars to 5.

Got one for my son because he is a huge Zelda fan and he had been bugging me for one for a long time. Well, I decided to get him this one for Christmas and kinda expected it to be a gimmick and something that wouldn't work well if at all.Whoa! Was I ever wrong!!!Turns out the thing play kinda like a recorder and does in fact work. Not only does it work, it actually sounds really good. When I was young I remember playing recorder in school and this instrument reminds me of that but just in a different layout. Also, the sounds from recorders always seemed kinda pitchy and harsh, and you had to blow softer to get the low notes to sound right and it was difficult for people to learn how to get the air flow just right for some of those notes. With this instrument it is easy to get all the notes to sound great and the sound of the notes overall is more soothing and not harsh sounding. My son tried the recorder and hated it, but he loves using this and I hear him outside playing tunes he made up on it all the time.Just one word of caution about this though... It is made of ceramics so it will break if it is dropped. Just be careful with it and treat it like you would a more expensive instrument and you'll love it and it will last a long time!

I’ll start with the positives, this looks AMAZING as as a display piece it is exactly what I wanted, it’s a perfect size and weight as well. The inclusion of a song book, case, and stand was also a really nice touch for its low price, but there is one glaring issue and that’s the tuning, as many other reviewers have said the tuning for high notes is off and screechy, the low notes sound perfect but higher ones are a serious problem. I bought this not only as a display item but also as a fun instrument to challenge myself with, but now it is simply for display. 5/5 for display 2/5 for sound. So over all I can’t in good faith give this a 5 star.

This certainly is well made and cam be played if you know how to play it right but it also sounds very breathy and off pitch. I bought an Ocarina from STL Ocarina and it sounded so much better and yeah I unfortunately have to return this one since I have a better one. But if you're not looking to take it too seriously and sorta just want one cuz you're a Zelda fan then it's pretty worth it I'd say.

I got this for my husband for Father’s Day. He loves it and it’s great quality as well. He’s already taken it to display in his office.

1. Ceramic on Ceramic is a poor choice the display hand is a joke.2. The cord is a cheap synthetic not worth having.3. The protective case out weighs both 1 & 2.4.Nice size & color love the triforce5. The song book w/ multiple languages is a must!

L'article est vraiment beau. Il le semble avoir une grand taille sur la photo mais il est comme même petit. Il se tient sur la paumé d'une main. La confection est vraiment super. J'ai eu du mal à positionner l'objet sur la main blanche contenu dans le paquet (ma faute sûrement). Objet de collection pour ma part

beau cadeau, objet de qualité, mais attention c est pas un jouet pour les petits! le livret de musique est pas facile donc vaut mieux s y connaitre en solfége...sinon cadeau qui a fait son zffet pour un jeune de 14 ans
