MoliCare Skin No Rinse Shampoo Cap

Absolutely love this. It is so easy to use and my hair felt soft without any residue at all. I will definitely buy this again as I think it's always handy to have one in in case your heating or water goes off

The wash cap was much wetter than i thought so if using please put a towel over your shouldersand cover eyes. It worked quite well but my hair once dry felt like i needed to rinse it. I will try it again as a great idea if you are unable to wash your hair

Used this after having surgery and wasn’t allowed to shower with my dressings on. Very effective but difficult to get long hair in the cap. My hair did feel washed.

This product would be so useful when you don't have ready access to water, maybe on a camping holiday. I think I really tested it. It was one of those days when an hour or so after my shower I realised I really should have washed my hair. I try not to wash it every day, but my hair had obviously needed it. So my hair was greasy. Now I could have used a shower head and washed it conventionally but I thought instead I would test this product out. So I heated it in the microwave - maybe I could have done it longer, as it wasn't really warm when I got it out of the package. But then I put the impregnated shower cap on my head, and tucked all my hair in. There is a lot of room so it could cope with bushy or long hair just as well. I massaged it into my hair, then left it was instructed. When I removed it my hair was a bit damp, but I let it dry naturally. How does it compare to dry shampoo? There is no comparison it is far far better. Whilst maybe not quite such a deep clean as my usual routine, it was much more like a proper shampoo. The hair was no longer greasy and the scalp was not itchy. The effect lasted more than 24 hours when I next washed my hair conventionally. I really would like to have one always in the cupboard, and will definitely take it if I go travelling. I will also recommend it to my daughter - it could be great for festivals!

Tried this for a relative stuck in hospital with no access to a hairdresser or ability to wash her own hair. It’s very easy to use and freshens up the hair, making her more comfortable. Far too expensive for long term use.

I had my doubts that this would clean my hair fully, but am impressed by the results. Very easy to use, you don't have to microwave the cap if you don't want to either. It doesn't seem to effect the results as far as I can tell. The cap is very thick and feels a bit damp when first opened. Just put it on, massage for 2-3 mins as stated, take off and wrap in a towel. Feels about the same as when I wash my hair in the shower, except not as wet which is ideal if you're running short of time. I have long straight hair and it was dry with under an hour just from having it wrapped in a towel. Price is about right, though you only get one cap per packet. I would consider keeping a few of these in reserve for those days when I am in a rush. Certainly a time saver and does the job great.

The very first thing to bear in mind is not to open the plastic bag, until product about to be used – it is wet inside! The instructions are on the package outside at the back; but suggest for first time users an additional label or clear message 'Do Not Open Until Required' on the front would be helpful. You can lightly heat the (sealed) bag in a microware (10-20 seconds) to warm the moisture impregnated into the cap. On opening the cap is certainly large enough to cover a fair mass of hair, and can be prone to some liquid dripping out towards both face and neck areas. Using the product is simple enough, just massage the hair via the outside of the cap for around 2-3 minutes. Then dry hair with a towel. Odour is neutral, and washed hair does smell clean. So overall the product does work as advertised. However, I would envisage that most people would simply use a bottle/packet of shampoo, where bathroom facilities or even just a sink is available. However, there are practical uses of this shampoo cap, such as for the infirm and elderly with mobility issues. This will save having to bend head over a sink, and in these cases, product could be a boon. Also, for care homes and anywhere else where vulnerable people are looked after, this product could assist staff to wash their hair, where sink washing is impracticable. Additionally, such a product may well be useful for all people, for washing hair at outside locations such as camping or festival events.

Produit au top. Très pratique et agréable. J'ai réalisé le soin au lit pour ma grand mère. J'avais fait chauffé légèrement le pack. J'ai réalisé un massage du cuir chevelu avec la charlotte imprégnée, puis laissé sécher les cheveux. Ma grand mère a beaucoup apprécié la sensation de douce chaleur qui laisse place ensuite à l'effet propre et rafraîchi.

Après ma déception avec d’autres marques, acheté pour essaie. La charlotte est bien large. Bon lavage en dépannage, dégraisse bien sans laisser de traces.

Très moyen. Du liquide plein le sachet au moment d’ouvrir (donc sans doute plus beaucoup dans la charlotte !) On ne peut pas dire que les cheveux ressortent propres, peut être plus efficace sur cheveux très courts. Mes cheveux mi longs sont ressortis tout crépus, mi sales en racine, mis sec au bout… j’aurais mieux faire de rester avec mon shampoing sec. J’ai limite l’impression que c’est plus gras après ça qu’avant
