I've been using this specific makeup remover for years and I don't want to use anything else! Not only does it do its job perfectly, it really does seem to be oil-free, unlike other brands' makeup removers that claim to be oil-free and leave your skin oily regardless. It's light-weight and doesn't dry out your skin. Despite other reviews, I've gotten this in my eyes a few times and I have not experienced a burning sensation. I use this all the time to perfect my usual winged liner and it works so well! It doesn't remove waterproof makeup, however, they do make a waterproof version of this that you should use if you wear waterproof makeup. I hope Almay makes this stuff forever!

In my opinion, one of the greatest eye makeup removers on the market today. I really love using Almay's eye makeup remover pads - but when I open a new jar of them, a lot of times I find them not moist enough. Yes, I store the jar upside-down to ensure the first pads that get used are wet enough but it just doesn't do the job sometimes. I use this Almay liquid and pour that over the pads and it works like a charm! I'm always sure to NOT use the other liquid (that's partial oil that you need to shake in order to use) because that doesn't work well on my remover pads. This version, though? Priceless!!

Love this! No oily residue and feels clean and light. Removes all my eye makeup with ease no scrubbing. I would recommend using this product.

I almost never write negative reviews, but this product has earned one. I needed a replacement for my Maybelline (yes, Maybelline, I am giving you the stink-eye) oil free remover that has apparently been discontinued. Almay is a well respected brand, and I never expected to have an issue with one of their products. The package states it has been ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested. I'm not sure what they tested for...it certainly wasn't for how much it stings your eyes, though. Yee-ouch! The first time I used it, it stung one eye, slightly. Today, it stung both eyes. A lot. I will never purchase this product again nor will I finish the (99% full) bottle. Yes, it removes makeup, but that shouldn't leave your eyes feeling as though they'd had acid dropped in them. The good news is that after wiping gently with warm water (from the kettle so it had been boiled) my eyes feel mostly back to normal. This product is a hard no for me. Will it turn me off Almay completely? Probably not. I've used Almay cosmetics many times. But I absolutely will not buy any makeup removers from them!

Works well, but it does cause a little burning during use. Maybe my eyes are more sensitive, but my experience is mild burning during use.

This Eye Makeup Remover Liquid with Aloe by Almay ,Oil Free, Hypoallergenic, Fragrance Free is a wonder to me. I am 50+ and recently started to wear gel eyeliner and couldn't find any soap to really clean the black in the creases under my eyes, but this did the trick. I wash my face regularly, then I just dab a cotton swab at the end with this make-up remover under my eyes and then use the dry end to get the excess off. I then follow with a soap to get it off fully. I don't let it get in my eyes as it is oily and very powerful. So the combination of facial soap and this does the trick for me without tugging at my mature skin too much! I would recommend for sure :)

For those of you looking for a replacement for Maybelline expert eyes like I am, this one is OK it’s not oily it does the job it just smells like alcohol and I don’t like the smell. I like something with zero smell.

I have used this product for years because it effectively removes all makeup without leaving my skin greasy or worse for me too dry. I like using cotton pads rather than presoaked makeup removal wipes as I feel this is more economical and produces less waste.

Sí tiene un olor fuertecillo como a alcohol, pero es muy suave con los ojos. No arden (arderían si tuviera alcohol) ni mucho menos. Hace muy bien su trabajo, aunque si quieres remover el maquillaje a prueba de agua, recomiendo más el desmaquillante de ojos de Neutrogena.

This is the best one I’ve tried. Non greasy and works incredibly well. You can take off your eye makeup quickly.

No desmaquilla nada! Quedé decepcionada. De plano no pude usarlo.

No lo recomiendo para nada, no sirve para quitar la mascara de pestañas y huele demasiado a Alcohol, deja el área del contorno de ojos irritada.Lo use solamente dos veces y no lo volveré a usar.
