So be sure wor have it braced and pointed in the right direction haha ive ruined 2 batteries in salt water but the drill still works with a different battery.

**Q: can I use it on a stand up paddleboard ?**

Yes... the product is 4 ft. long, so you may have to kneel for best effect!

**Q: Can i use a 18v drill?**
A: Yes you can use any drill motor.  I have been using them weekly for a few years in my float tube.  Plenty of batteries is a must. I recommend the highest RPM drill you can find.    I run with a Ryobi P252 1800 rpm’s and five 9.0’s, and 2 6.0’s and we can go a long ways.

**Q: Do i need both hands to operate this? I’m planning to get it for my fishing kayak and would love to be able to do some trolling while fishing**
A: It works great for my Float Tube. Yes you need two hands. One to hold the drill and the other hand to foam pad down in water. I use a cordless drill and the back pressure of the fins in the water. Kinda like when firing and gun. It give a back kick. So two hands are needed.

I have a 14ft aluminum row boat and this was able to push me fast enough to beach the boat and walk straight out onto dry land, something I wasn't able to do using oars. Use caution in reverse, the pull at slow speeds can lure you into not holding on hard enough, just about yanked itself out of my hands .
