Still works after being left outside for years.
Had it for 5 years, still works, will pull you into the water capsized very easily in reverse. So be sure wor have it braced and pointed in the right direction haha ive ruined 2 batteries in salt water but the drill still works with a different battery.

Works as shown - Much stronger than I expected
I have a 14ft aluminum row boat and this was able to push me fast enough to beach the boat and walk straight out onto dry land, something I wasn't able to do using oars. Use caution in reverse, the pull at slow speeds can lure you into not holding on hard enough, just about yanked itself out of my hands .

Nothing Funnier than a 6 Person Tube Cruising
Had to try it. A little hard to control, unless you fix it to the boat somehow. With a Milwaukee hand drill on speed 2 and a 12.0 M18 battery, this thing flies. We take an annual big family vacation every year on a lake, someone brought a 6-set tube to float on and this was perfect to hang on to. People must've thought we were floating away but it was the funniest thing to see this thing float from one side of the lake to the opposite in a few minutes Product is built well, lightweight, you can hold onto the shaft while the propeller spins. Just dont overheat the drill or drop it on the water! You could probably bungee it to the rear of a kayak

Good purchase, fun to use
Out of the box, great! I put a extra washer between lock nut and the plastic propeller, oiled the washer and plastic bottom washer, as well as ordered the middle section where the foam floater is

Deceptive ad.
The Lithium-Ion batteries last from ยฝ an hour to 45 minutes at maximum power, to about 1 hour or more when cycled every 5-10 seconds (which is recommended) this keeps your drill and battery cool to prevent overheating. That line there leads you to believe the drill comes with it. It does not. Will never purchase from this buyer or any related to it.

Works Great!
I purchased this for some help on windy days in my float tube. Works so well, I purchased two more for my boys for Christmas this year. They have seen me use mine, and were very happy to each receive one as a gift. Highly recommend for float tubers on windy days!

Surprisingly useful
I was skeptical of this when I first got it but itโs surprisingly useful. Not good for consistent use but for getting from point a to point b or moving from spot to spot on a small fishing lake works great. I also have multiple drills and batteries I use for work including a 9 and 12 amp hour battery. Itโs hard to steer in a kayak. The speed is that of a consistent paddle. I bought 2 to use in a canoe I have yet to try that. In a kayak it works well especially being light weight and sleek to stash away while not in use.
