(It took longer than 24 hrs for me because (1) lemon juice makes it take longer and (2) I used cold juice from the fridge and really should have warmed it up a bit.) I sifted the mixture using a stocking and transfered to my cones. Depending on your hair colour, it's going to get coloured though. Depends on your hair colour. If black hair, then there will be a reddish/brownish tone (depending how black your hair is)... it's mostly subtle but the greys will take on/show more colour than your other hairs. If you have lighter coloured hair...brunette through to blonde... then the colour will be even more noticeable. Suggestion for you, buy a pack. Mix it. Then do a few test strands ... leave for roughly an hour (with henna the longer you leave it, the deeper the colour takes) so I'm saying an hour because that should be enough time to find out how responsive your hair is. After an hour. Rinse the strands and if you're happy with the colour then stick to the hour but if you want less, or more, colour then adjust accordingly.
