Is it the package deal with the deluxe otamatone and the key chain that you are asking about? If so, it may be the dimensions for the deluxe instrument and not the key chain.

I got this but does it make the kirby noises? I cant get it to do that.

It doesn't make any special noises other than the regular Otamatone sounds. There are no Kirby sounds, it just has the pink color and Kirby face.
