This bag worked perfectly for our 12year old to get all of his gear to and from his games. Super roomy and good quality.

It's a good backpack. The pockets are well placed. I don't carry a ball, but the front, mesh area is perfect for dirty clothes. The zippers are a bit stiff, especially on the lower, shoe section, but nothing I can't get past. I use the shoe section for my shower sandals, and my size 12's fit after some maneuvering. The straps are decently padded but I wouldn't want to go for a long walk with this on my back.
