It arrived all scrunched up but lay it out at room temp to reshape but you can still work with it. It was pretty gummy. It was something I didn't do before but I did order the tool to extend the springs separately and 100% necessary IMO. With some finesse, I got it on the voter tub rim and you need to be sure it's really on before moving on. I gave a reasonably hard tug after the spring tensioned ring on and it came off. I did it again and with a little more care, it was on good. I connected the drain hose at the bottom (after making sure it was cleaned out) and proceeded to connect to the outer rim. Had the same issue but much easier to connect bc it was all visible. The outer spring ring needs to be tight against the washer. All said & done... VIOLA ! I did a good sized load and all good. I wish you the best. We'll see if there's any issues as time goes on but it seemed nice & flexible and

Do your research to ensure you're ordering the correct part for your washer. I did and this was a perfect fit. Overall, an easy replacement experience after watching a few videos online ahead of time. Do yourself a favor and add a Washer Spring Expansion Tool to your order--you'll be glad to have that on hand if you don't already have one in your toolbox.

My LG cloths washer started spilling water everywhere, model wm2250cw. I replaced the seal myself. Let me tell you, this was very difficult to replace due to the two tension springs used to secure this in place.

Works great, fits perfectly. It definitely stopped the leaking issuesi was having and was fairly easy to install as long as you get the spring pliers. Be careful when handling the front panel since the inside edges can be extremely sharp. This will save you a lot of money on hiring someone.

Came folded, was not rigid, and lacked any form, like a limp noodle. wrinkled and not the right size. It was too big. Did not fit WM2050CM LG washing machine.

Fit perfectly after I gave in and ordered the tool. YOU NEED THE TOOL DONT BE CHEAP. I can normally get by without specialty tools, this thing had me losing my temper bc how hard could it be. Tried for about 30 min with a helper, ordered the tool. It took me 5 min with the tool by myself. Worth it. Washer doesn’t leak after install

It fits perfectly in the washing machine. What I noticed is that this new door seal feels softer than the original one. I don’t know if it means a shorter life span but if it lasts for more than 3 or 4 years is okay with me.
