## Description

The Hamilton Beach Professional Cast Iron Electric Grill has a large cooking surface and adjustable temperature controls up to 450° F. The durable cast iron surface is preseasoned and provides consistent heat for evenly browned and cooked foods.

Review: Finally a cast iron griddle. Was tired of non-stick forever chemicals and poor heat zones. I had this for a while now. Just like a cast iron skillet it takes a good 2-3 mins to heat up. I typically turn it on before I mix pancake batter. It’s heavy, solid and ment to last. (It better!) Pros: naturally non stick cast iron. Design is perfect, with well placed drain hole. I can cook 6 pancakes at a time. Heats evenly, no cold or hot spots. The rim on the edge helps prevent food rolling off. Top cast iron pan is separate and can be cleaned. Note: do not soak. And season the surface. That means clean, remove food, heat up and put a little oil on cooking area before every put away. Take care of it. Cons: the cool down. You have to wait a good 20 mins for it to cooldown before putting away. It weights a bit. Not too heavy but it’s not a one hand lift out of the cabinet. Bonus: it’s a griddle plug in the wall. So that way the stove is free. For me it’s a solid functional piece of equipment for my kitchen used multiple times a week. Image blue berry pancakes

This cast iron griddle is the best one we have had in a long time. Love the cast iron vs what ever everyone else is using. It's classic cast iron, so heavy and you need to take care of it like you would a cast iron pan. We are a family of 5, while its a good size I would love a bigger one.

Fantastic griddle! I did bake the cast iron at 500 for an hour with bacon grease twice before first use, and it's cooking pancakes, eggs and hash browns perfectly without sticking. It heats evenly and is easy to clean as well. I really appreciate the cast iron being removeable, which makes seasoning and reseasoning very easy if you prefer doing it in the oven. I also live the lip around the edge,it's taller than griddles we've owned in the past- it really helps prevent food from sliding off when stirring and flipping.
