The soles are very slick & slippery, like hard plastic. They arrived without a shoebox, just wrapped up in bubble wrap. I ordered a sz 10 for my 5'6" daughter for a team hip hop dance, but these are larger & wider than a women's US 10. I'm guessing that they don't differ between women & men sizes & width. I'm betting that we'll have to return these because they're not fit for the team to wear period, let alone dance in. Their slippery soles are a huge hazard!
