DO the pencils have the colour names on them?

Yes they do. They are lovely pencils. Fabulous variety of colours. They don't blend like Prismacolor Pencils though.

Is it wax or oil-based?

Not as far as I know. They were given as a present

How big is the delivery box - can it fit through the mail/letter box

I would say not through a standard letter box. It is 28 x 19 x 3 cm.

Are these better than crayola

I have never used Crayola. They were not available when I was a child. I have used colour pencils through out my life.
