Fix you reeds and improve your sound.
I could tell a definite difference first time I used it. I had a stuffy sounding reed that was harder to play. A few minutes on it with this tool, and whamo, easier blowing, better sound etc.

An (almost) perfect product.
This is not my first item from this company, but I'm seeing a trend: they don't spend a lot of time or money on product packaging. This Geeklet Reed Tool arrived inside a plastic tube stuffed into a plastic bag. Inside the plastic tube, there's a small sheet of paper with a QR code that links to an online registration form. Behind the form are plenty of educational materials, including extensive "how to" training for the Geeklet. The tool itself works quite well. In no time at all, I produced a tiny cloud of sawdust as I carefully shaved a reed. This worked very nicely. If there's a "secret" to it, it's in the weighted tip that (as the instructional video says) does most of the work for you.I've been using a set of glass files, so this is a very welcome upgrade. Vastly more convenient and takes up very little space in my gear bag.One downer: when I first received the Geeklet, it took a few minutes before I could remove it from the case. The lid fit was extremely tight. I twisted, squeezed, banged. Finally, prying a blade between the cap and body of the tube is what worked. Once I had it off, I worked the cap on and off several times until it would come off easily. The packaging is durable and practical for daily storage. It just isn't well thought out. Hard to use, and looks a little chintzy.
