These discs do a great job of both cutting and polishing without leaving behind haze. Most cutting pads leave behind a hard haze that you need to go back through and correct. With these, I do not have that issue. Use with a medium cut compound and you will get some great results. Impressed with these pads at a good price point.

These microfiber pads from meguiars are absolutely incredible. They seem to spin much better than foam pads on any DA machine I have paired them with, but they also do more work than any foam pads I have ever used. These microfiber pads get SO much work done in very little time. These would be the first cutting pads I would recommend to ANY beginner or even enthusiast as they are just so easy to get a great result with. I have noticed they tend to break down before most of my foam pads do, however with as much more work as they do in the right circumstances, I will always have at least 6 of these cutting pads and 6 of the finishing pads in stock 100% of the time. If you are debating, buy them.

These are awesome for heavy paint corrections. I have used them 5x so far and they are holding up well. You must take care of them correctly. After two panels, blow the one out your using as it will clog up with compound and clear coat. I personally will soak it in hot water and Chemical Guys foam pad cleaner while I use the other one. Then when I need to switch again, I'll pull the other one out and blow it out with air until dry and clear. Then repeat while alternating.

Nothing cuts like microfiber! These pads removed years of damage caused by the kids running their cars through the gas station carwash. Spider web like scratches and marring all over. When pared with the right compound these pads are like magic. I imagine the only time the car looked better is when it left the showroom floor. Would buy these pad 1000 times again.

Much faster and easier to work with than a foam pad. Removes extreme oxidation on boat gelcoat with two passes vs 5 or more for a foam pad. Also has better scratch correction on automotive paint than the foam pad. To top it off, it doesn't disintegrate like a foam pad, which usually die halfway through buffing a boat. The only downside is that it loads up with the D300 and has to be blown off or brushed off after each pass, but I will take it for its durability and ease of use.
