Mean Green Tomatoes - 2 Pack

Picture deceptive.These are so yellow liquid and tomato chunks not sliced, so yellow you think they had melted a crayon in there. Sour so unbelievably sour it is all you can taste. Literally nothing like the picture or desciption. Unless you want something more sour than sucking on a whole lime, I recommend not purchasing this pickles.

I bought these because I had purchased them before (not off Amazon) and they were as pictured--sliced for sandwiches. If you look at the picture, you can see they are SLICES. The description even mentions adding them to sandwiches. Imagine my disappointment when they arrived and are cut into SPEARS. These are way too expensive to not be the pictured product. I bought 4 jars and now they can't be used on sandwiches.

This is a terrible product. A totally unexpected sweet flavor that made me gag. Their other products range from good (tomatoes) to outstanding (pickles). Save your money. I had to throw this concoction out.

These babies are REALLY tart but are a great replacement for pickles on sandwiches, burgers, etc. I even diced a couple up and put them on a hotdog. And fabulous customer service!

This was not what I expected when I placed my order. The tomatoes are on the sweet and somewhat hot side. I was looking for Green Dill Kosher-style Pickled Green Tomatoes. They are good, and I will order again.

If you like green tomatoes and tangy, spicy sweetness, you'll love Doux South Mean Green Tomatoes. I just ordered four more jars of these delectable, fat-free treats because the two jars I ordered last week are gone. It took a lot of will power not to eat a whole jar in one sitting. Even the little onion pieces and brine are zesty. I highly recommend this product, especially for fellow pickled food lovers.

When I read the description I thought to myself, "How can that be good". But surprisingly it is!For reference I'm also a fan of there pickles (Angry Cukes) and mustard (Creole), no so much the cabbage (chow chow).

These were a little different that traditional pickled green tomatoes. However I loved them. Perfect on home smoked pork butt , salads, or burgers. Heck I even eat them straight from the jar.
