This is one of the nicest travel 'coffee cups' I have ever seen, with almost everything done right. It looks great. It's stable, and not going to tip over. The push-on transparent lid means you don't need to open it to see whether you have any coffee left. It has a double-lip lid seal and shouldn't leak. It is really solid and should last years. And the price is really good...Except there is just one fatal flaw: it doesn't keep anything hot, or even warm. There is no thermal break between the metal interior and the chic metal outside, and metal conducts heat as well as it conducts electricity. Tragically, you should only buy this if you hate hot coffee. It gets cold fast.

This is a well-made and well finished insulated travel mug. The mug is made of double skinned alluminium, which appears robust enough to cope with knocks and bangs. The top is made of clear, double skinned plastic with a sliding mouthpiece. The top has a thick rubber seal, which holds the lid firmly in place and does not leak. The mug kept my tea warm for a few hours, making it ideal for the outdoors worker. The double skin means you won't burn your hands if you choose not to use the handle!

This travel mug is ideal if you're a coffee adict and want to get your daily takeout fix from a coffee shop and drink on the move, whilst also getting the shop discount for using your own mug. Also, for occupations such as teachers on playground duty, you can take your drink outside with no risk of spills.The cup itself is is light to hold with a removeable clear, tight sealing lid - or just slide back the catch to take sips from the slot without risk of spills from tilting the mug too far. The blue colour was also attractive.The negative for me was that the insulation seems poor. Admitedly the recent weather was very cold, but I only took a 5 minute walk to the allotment and placed the mug in my shed. Coming back 1.5 hours later the piping hot coffee I left was just luke warm. On that basis I doubt a cold drink would stay that way for long (unless you want such a drink in mid-winter).In conclusion, treat the mug as a drinks container only. For travel purposes if you want your drink to stay hot/cold for a few hours then put iit n a good thermos flask and pour into the mug when you are ready. As an insulated mug, IMO it's not fit for purpose unless you plan to have your drink within 30-45 minutes of filling it.
