Place another peice cut to length to fit under the first ropes so its in a circle sitting on top of lid. That peice will absorb water off other two ropes. Fill bucket with your water or nutrients and place lid on bucket making sure your 4 ropes drop inside and touch bottom. If you use a 5 gallon bucket filled with your favorite juice or water you won't have to worry about watering your plants for weeks if not longer depending on what your growing.
